"Zen. No." Was all I could manage to say. How could this happen?

Never in my sixteen-year life, I'd imagined such a day.

Never.

I sat there, as I felt my heart cracking like glass, spreading its pieces throughout my body. I stared at his text. The sadness flowed through my veins and deadened my mind. It was poison to my spirit, dulling me killing off my other emotions until it was the only one that remained. It was as if a black mist had settled upon me and refused to shift. I texted him back.

Zen..please tell me what's wrong?

Please. I miss you. Please.

No reply. He had left me alone. He was gone. Zen. I couldn't move. My body was numb. The tears had dried on my face. My stomach was hollow. My heart had stopped. I was empty. Empty of feelings. I couldn't remember how it felt like to be loved, to miss, to smile. No mother. No father. No him. Nothing. All of them were gone forever. Forever.

I received a mail from 7734.

How're ya!?? Get over those stupid people.

Hah..HUMAN BEINGS!! The most annoying creatures you will ever find on this bloody planet. This is to tell you that YOU'RE DIFFERENT! Can't explain it more than this. Find it out in CONFESSED. Huh?

"Find it out?!" I mumbled to myself. How was I supposed to find it myself? I decided to reply to this 7734 back.

WHO THE HELL ARE YOU???

Every word stung only fueling the fire that burned inside me. Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench and my jaw rooted. I would take my revenge.

Then I decided to check Confessed —the app that had ruined my life. It was responsible for this mess. I should have never downloaded it.

It opened with the same black background written: CONFESSED let the cat out of the bag. After a few seconds pause, the next screen appeared. The one with a white box. Where I'd written Zen's name and pressed confess to finding out his secret. The secret that I shouldn't have discovered but I did. This time I typed my own name. Maybe 7734 wanted me to know something about myself. But how could it be possible? Could it be that I wasn't aware of my own secrets? I wrote my name and pressed confess.

Autumn Johnson

After a couple-of-minutes loading, another screen appeared. The one that had revealed Zen's secret to me. The one that he had..

I shook the thought away and concentrated on the statement about me. Adrenaline flooded my system, It pumped and beat like it was trying to escape. I thought my heart would explode and my eyes were wide with fear. I couldn't understand it. My brain was numb to take in such information. And then there was an email from 7734.

My fingers automatically tapped to open it while my brain had stopped.

See you soon Autumn, honey. And yes, you guessed it right. I'm hell.

Confessed had revealed my secret that I'd bloody no idea about. It was insane.

Autumn Johnson is not a human.
