After my little fight with Danna i was walking to my brothers car when i noticed Skylar pouting. "What up Sky? Is everything okay?" "Yeah. Fine." " You know that your mouth can say one thing but your heart can be completely different? Tell me whats up." She looked up at me and gave me a hug but cried on my chest. "My mom said that she doesnt want to see me anymore!!..." I hugged her tight i couldnt believe she had a rough home. "Come with me then.. We can go see a movie and get your mind off it." "This better not be some way to hit on me!! Cause im not in the mood!!" she yelled while her eyes were in tears. "It's not I just want you to get your mind off this while your mom cools down." "Okay..i trust you. But can i stay at your place and go home tomorrow?" "Sure that would be fine." i took her hand and held her close. My heart was beating like a drum when i held her so close. Like an angel was hugging me. We went to watch Insidious chapter 2. We were walking to the car when i got the feeling I was being watched. "Go to the car I'll be right there i forgot something." "Okay hurry back." I ran to the alley when i heard noises. "Might as well come out. I know you're hiding." "Well you might not be as stupid as i thought. But you're still getting your ass kicked." That voice was so familiar. When he stepped out of the shadows i knew who it was. It was Skylers' X. "What do you want? If its a fight it wont end well for you I knocked your ass down last time i dont think you want that again." "It's not just me you little prick." Behind him 5 other jocks appeared. They were about my size but had way more muscle. "This is what you get for playing hero on me." After that all the jocks including him ran at me. I didnt have time to run. My tattoo didnt activate so i was on my own. Two held me down while the others kicked and punched me. "You're not so tough. Why dont you charge at me? Cant you get up? Maybe when I'm done with you I'll go back to Sky and maybe show her how much I missed her.." he liked his lips so i knew exactly what he meant. "Maybe my friends want a piece of the action." then after that everything in the broke. All my will, happiness, excitement..everything but anger. I grabbed the two that held my down by throat and threw them at the cement wall. I jumped what felt like 10 ft and slammed both my feet on the heads of two other jocks. Their head crashed to the floor and actually cracked it. I punched one so hard in his stomach that he threw up. Along with his lunch their was also blood. Then their was just him. In the dark my eyes were glowing a crimson color a lot like the color of blood. "I better make sure that you never touch her again. Maybe u should rip off an arm or two." i heard myself and i sounded emotionless. Like i didnt care if he lived or died. He started running when i appeared right in front of him. "I'll warn you one more time. Never act like shes your property. She doesn't belong to anyone. Especially you." He nodded in agreement. I just kicked him in the gut and he flew to the brick wall i heard a bone or two brake. I walked back to the car and thats where she was standing. "Hey sorry i thought I left something inside. Lets go to my house i bet your tired." We drove home it looked like she was back to normal. I saw her eyes sparkle in the light. I opened the door and my mom was watching Tv in the living room while my brother was at his gfs house. "Mom my friends gonna spend the night. Is that ok?" "Sure hunny just get an extra blanket from the....." she looked at Sky like she was an angel with beautiful wings. I mean she was cute like incredibly cute but it was her heart i loved the most about her. "She's gonna sleep in my room. Sky go get a blanket from my closet. Its the 2nd door on your left up stairs." She did what i said and i was just there with my mom. "Who is that?! Why didnt you tell me you had a girlfriend?!" "She's not my girlfriend. I swear moms cant see a boy and a girl together without thinking that they're dating. Her mom and her had a fight. And since she was one of my only friends at school i thought I'd do her a favor." She looked sad all of a sudden. "Okay hunny. Your such a sweet friend." "Thanks mom." I went upstairs and she was sitting on my bed. I sat next to her and held her hand. "It'll be ok. Dont worry. Get some sleep." i tried to lay her down when she pulled me with her. "Will you sleep with me?" I felt my face get hot. "You mean sleep?" "Yeah i dont wanna be alone tonight. If its too weird i get it." "No its not. Its ok i will." I laid down next to her when she put her head on my chest. I felt that my heart was starting to speed up but i hoped she didnt notice. "Dante.." "Yeah?" i wanted to sound as calm as possible. "Am i worth anything in this world?" "Of course you are. Everyone is. And i bet by tomorrow everything will be ok?" "Promise?" "I promise." i could tell she was falling asleep. She looked in my eyes and i dont know what came over us. But that little space between us closed. I felt her lips on mine. They were soft. I felt what she felt. We kissed for what felt like forever. When we stopped were both catching our breath. She tasted like strawberries. After that she fell asleep on my chest. If i had doubts before then i know for sure now. I love her and I'm willing to give anything for her.
