Blue's P.O.V

"Emerald, we are going to be late! Hurry up!" I yelled from the door way.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Emerald groaned.

"How am I faster than you?" Ruby laughed.

"Shut up," Emerald glared.

"Emerald," I scolded.

We walked out of the apartment to meet up with Liam, Cameron, and Josh.

"We placing bets today?" Cameron smirked, "How many people will try to stop Blue?"

"0," Emerald smirked.

"Amateur," Liam snickered.

"Okay, how many people do you think?" Emerald snapped.

"At least 25," Liam nodded.

"I bet 8," Ruby shrugged.

"I bet 20," Cameron nodded.

"I bet 10," Josh nodded.

"Why do you guys do this?" I laughed, "You are teaching the kids a bad habit of gambling your money away."

"But it's fun," Josh and Cameron laughed as we began to walk to the rehearsal space.

When we arrived at the rehearsal space Emerald cheered, "Ha! I'm rich! Pay up peasants!"

Everyone groaned and gave Emerald $5 each. We began to go through our rehearsal when lunch rolled around.

"Blue and Josh you both are scheduled to go on the Katie Rose Show during lunch today. So please change so you both can head out and be there on time," Our director smiled, "And they want Emerald on the show too."

I grabbed my bag and walked into the bathroom to get changed. I changed out of my rehearsal wear and changed into a floral crop top, a black skater skirt and black wedges. I did light makeup and walked out. I walked over to Emerald who was in a green skater dress and black flats. Josh was in a nice blue button down and kakis with nice brown loafers. We walked down from the rehearsal space and to a car outside. They drove us to the studio and we got out and were escorted to the dressing room. When we got into the dressing room, our makeup began to be done.

"Blue. You still wear it?" Josh asked.

"Wear what?" I asked.

"The promise ring," Josh smiled softly.

I looked down to see the promise ring on the necklace around my neck. I smiled softly and chuckled.

"I only take it off for showering, sleeping and once Les Mis starts the run then that too," I explained.

"Mom, why did they want me to come?" Emerald asked from the makeup station next to Josh.

"Well what I know is that Katie's son, Felix has a big crush on you," The makeup artist spoke.

"I'm nothing special," Emerald shrugged.

"Emerald you know that's a lie in a half," I stated.

"On in five," the stage manager smiled.

"One, you have me as your mother. Two, you just starred in your very first movie without any supporting character rolls on your back. Three, you're about to be on Broadway. And four, you started out in life with very little and now you have a lot. Not just because of me but because you know how to work and be liked," I explained.

Emerald's P.O.V:

I sighed and we got up and walked backstage. Our mics were clipped to our tops and now we just wait.

"Hello everyone and welcome to the Katie Rose Show! I'm your host Katie Rose and today I am talking with the people who blew the 2020 media away like a storm. Joshua Colley, Blue and Emerald Ortiz are all sharing the stage in Les Miserables on Broadway. Josh is reviving he role from 2015 as Jean Valjean, alongside Blue as Cosette and Emerald as Young Cosette. Since the last time we saw Blue Ortiz she was about to leave for her World Tour, 'The Path to a New Start'. Since then, she has starred alongside her daughter Emerald in 'Starlight', a new moving coming soon. Since the last time we saw Joshua Colley, right out of high school he starred as Evan Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway. Two years following that, he starred as Spongebob in Spongebob the Musical on Tour. Now on to Emerald who is blowing the media away. Emerald has started her own YouTube channel branding herself as a singer and a youtuber 'just like her mom'. Emerald starred in Starlight as Luna/Starlight. Since then she has modeled for many brand. Please welcome to the stage Blue and Emerald Ortiz alongside Joshua Colley!" Katie Rose exclaimed.

We walked onstage and sat across from Katie with Josh sitting the farthest from her and myself in the middle of Mom and Josh.

"How have you all been, it's been about 5 years now?" Katie smiled at Josh and Blue.

"Well I haven't been as busy as Blue and Emerald but I've had my fair share of things to do as you explained earlier," Josh smiled back.

"As you explained in your statement, Emerald and I had just starred in 'Starlight'," Mom smiled at Katie.

"Well as you both know, most of my questions today are for Emerald but some are for you as well," Katie explained, "Emerald. What is it like to have Blue as your mother?"

"Since she has been taking care of me since I was 5, her parenting skills have increased since then," I explained.

"That's good. Now what has working at a young age taught you?" Katie asked.

"To appreciate what you have even though you might not have what you want," I smiled.

"Now lets talk about boys," Katie smirked as I began to blush a deep red, "Are you crushing on anyone right now?"

"Well like of course I'm crushing on boys," I giggled.

"Well my son is currently here in the studio and is a huge fan of yours," Katie explained.

"Mom, don't do it," A voice yelled from of set.

"He was wondering if he could have a kiss on his cheek," Katie chuckled.

"Sure," I shrugged.

"Wait really? I thought you would of said no," The boy sheepishly smiled.

"Why not, it's just a kiss on the cheek," I smiled back.

The boy walked on set and in front of the cameras. I stood up from my seat and walked over to the boy. I kissed his cheek softly before sitting back down. The boy smiled widely before running off stage.

"Well that just made his day," Katie laughed, "Now there has been a big rumor floating around with 'evidence' to go along with it, and we need answers. Blue, you have been spending a lot of time with Josh lately, and some cuddle and kiss time as well. We want to know are you pregnant with Josh's kid?"

"No. Where did you get that idea?" Mom asked hesitantly.

"With an article, ultra sound pictures were attached and it shows a baby in a stomach, it's not yours?" Katie asked as the picture of the ultra sound popped up on the screen behind her.

Mom shifted uncomfortably and wrapped her arms around her stomach, "No. Those aren't mine. Now if you will excuse me."

Mom stood up and walked off stage. I followed her quickly and so did Josh. We took off our mics and handed them to a stage manager. We all walked into the dressing room and mom broke down crying. Josh engulfed her in a hug and sat her down on the couch.

"Why would someone ask such a personal question? Since I'm not pregnant she's pretty much calling me fat," Mom cried into Josh's shoulder.

"Ignore her Blue. You have better things to worry about. Like if you'd want to be my girlfriend," Josh asked shyly.

"I would love to be your girlfriend Josh."
