Izzabella.

The pounding bass of the music could be heard from a block away. Cars were littered up and down the streets.

The houses were starting to get big and when I say big I really mean massive palaces, that put the white house to shame.

The house was dark and if it wasn't for the red cups scattered on the lawn and the cars parked everywhere, you would almost think it was vacant, but that's when the people streaming in and out of the door came into sight.

As Di parked, I attempted to recognize some familiar faces, but after seeing none, my nerves took over.

"Di, we can always go to the next party..." I desperately pleaded. "I mean this one's kind of scary." And it really was, the girls here looked like they walked straight of the set of a fashion show and I'm not even gonna get started on the guys.

Di sighed unbuckled her seat belt she turned to me. "Iz. Chill!" And then she proceeded to get out of her car.

First day with this girl and I was already irked. I followed her suit (not carrying the same grace she managed to have) and trotted beside her up towards the house.

I could make a run for it. Di wouldn't probably notice for awhile right? As I contemplated my great plan of escape, I found myself going up the steps of the house and through the threshold.

Dianna grabbed my hand and pulled me through a swarm of sweaty bodies.

The smells were probably the most horrid things known to man. The scents were unrecognizable to me, they mixed through the air, sending me into a haze.

She seemed to know where she was going as she pulled me to the kitchen where there was assortment of cans and red cups.

"Isn't this exciting?" Di exclaimed.

I shook my head and sighed. "Were here. Isn't it time to leave now?"

She threw her head back in laughter. "Have a drink and calm down."

She filled a red cup of some liquid to the brim and passed it to me. "Chug."

"What is it?"

She shrugged. "You'll really like it."

So I chugged. It rushed down my throat and it tasted awful, but the more I drank the better it got and the better I felt.

"You all good?" Di asked as she poured a second cup and took a swig out of it.

"I guess so." I responded, shrugging my shoulders.

"Wanna go dance?"

I shook my head and laughed hysterically. "In these death traps?" I kicked my foot up in front of me and pointed to the contraption supporting my feet.

"There just high heels." And once more she dragged me away.

"More like high hells."

"Put that one on your resume Iz." Di rolled her eyes.

All the music seemed to be rap, which I had no problem with and after a while I found myself moving my head along with the beat of the music, but there was no way I was dancing. It was like a mosh pit in there.

"Can't dance huh?"

I shrunk backwards and glanced up at my aproacher. I had never seen him before, I assumed he didn't go to my school, he was too good looking to not notice.

"Cat caught your tongue?" He took by my side and watched the wild come to life.

Where was Dianna when I needed her?
