"I don't want to be here," Camila huffed as she followed Lauren into the X-Factor, a new night club that just opened in Los Angeles. Lauren rolled her eyes at her best friend as she looped her arm through her best friend and dragged her inside.

"You can't hole yourself up in your room forever," Lauren said as she walked into the club with her friend, "You have to get back out there."

"I just broke up with my girlfriend of two years, Lauren," Camila rolled her eyes as she followed her best friend into the club.

"Yeah, a month ago!" Lauren shouted as she turned to look at her best friend.

"A month, two days, 12 hours, 45 minutes, and-," Camila looked down at her watched, "13 seconds."

Lauren stopped walking when the pair reached the bar, and she turned to look at her friend with a look of disbelief, "Seriously, Camz? You counted it down to the second?" Lauren crossed her arms against her chest as she rolled her eyes.

"I loved her, Laur," Camila frowned, and Lauren sighed as she wrapped her arm around Camila's shoulders, and pulled the other Latina into a side hug.

"Well tonight, you're going to forget about her. Tonight you're getting over her," Lauren said firmly before she turned to call for the bartender, who also happened to be their best friend, Zayn, "Hey, Z! A round of shots please, and then the usual."

"Coming right up, ladies," Zayn flashed his boyishly charming grin the girls way before he moved to make the drinks. The girls watched him in interest as he set two shot glasses down in front of the girls then poured vodka into them.

Lauren picked them both up and handed Camila one. She held her glass out to Camila, "To the newly single, Camila. Let's hope she gets some ass tonight," Lauren smirked before she downed the shot. Camila rolled her eyes at her best friend's toast as she downed her own shot.

"Here you are, ladies. A margarita for Lauren, and a Whiskey on the Rocks for Camila," Zayn set down to drinks in front of the girls and they both flashed him thankful smiles. He merely just grinned as he looked at Camila, "It's good to see you out again, Mila."

"You can thank me for that. When I went by Camz's apartment she was eating Ben & Jerry's in her pajamas watching Friends on her couch, and so I dressed her up and dragged her out the house," Lauren smirked proudly.

"Not sure whether I should award you and tell you that was a bad idea," Zayn said and Lauren looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"Normani's here," Zayn said as he leaned his hands against the bar counter, "Came in here about an hour ago with some friends."

Camila found herself tensing up at the sound of her ex girlfriend's name. Lauren seemed to have noticed because she pinched the bridge of her nose, "Shit," she cursed under her breath before she turned to look at the younger Latina, "We can go if you want, Camz."

"N-no," Camila shook her head slowly, "Like you said, I can't keep running from my problems," Camila said as she lifted the glass of whiskey to her lips and downed the contents. She looked at Zayn, "Hit me with another one, Z."

Zayn and Lauren exchanged looks with one another before Zayn cleared his throat, "Coming up, Mila," Zayn said as he moved around the bar. Camila sighed as she turned around to lean her back against the bar.

Her eyes instantly glanced around the bar. She knew what she was looking for. Actually, more specifically who she was looking for. The strobe lights of the club were making it hard for her to point out any of the faces, and this caused her frown to deepen.
