A/N: Hey, hey, I had four periods of maths today because according to school I'm smart and that means lots of maths. Technically it was only three but, in geography, we literally only did gradient so... enough of me bitching. Onto the chapter!

Ruby's POV

It was black, but in the distance, I could see something. I was pulled to it, only to see Y/N's body. All three times he 'died' I started crying and felt a hand on my shoulder right as I was turning around...

Y/N: *Worried* Ruby! Are you ok?

Ruby: Yeah! Yeah...

I hugged Y/N and began to cry.

Ruby: Just... had a bad dream.

Y/N: *Still worried* Okay...

Y/N's POV

Team RNJR were on the road again, moving onto the next village. Ruby was at the front looking at a map confused

Ruby: So the next town is... uh-huh... uh-huh... We're lost.

Jaune: We're not lost. The next town is Shion. My family used to visit it all the time.

Ruby: Oh yeah. Don't you have, like, four sisters?

Jaune: Uh, seven.

Ruby and Pyrrha giggled.

Y/N: Shion is pretty cool, there are some great hiking trails around it and some nice folks, all in all, Shion was nice when I visited last.

Jaune: I got my own tent every time we came here because I was special! Also, so my sisters would stop braiding my hair.

Pyrrha: Didn't like the look?

Jaune: Yeah, they just kept doing pigtails, but personally, I think I'm more of a "warrior's wolftail" kind of guy.'

Y/N: Shut up, Sokka. 

Ruby: That's just a ponytail.

Jaune: I stand by what I said.

Pyrrha giggled while looking at Jaune.

Pyrrha: Maybe I could give you a "warrior's wolftail" sometime soon.

I looked at them with a smile on my face, however, that smile didn't last. I turned around and saw a big problem with our plans.

Y/N: *seriously* Guys... We have a problem here.

They all turned around and noticed what I had.

Nora: *puts hands to mouth* No...

Ren: Well... guess we'll be walking for a while longer.

The town was smoking and the sky was grey. There were broken buildings everywhere, I ran in and yelled back to them.

Y/N: There could be survivors! Search the area!
