Cameryn
I wandered down the library shelves. The books were nice I guess but I didn't really care to read them.
Now, if I was a seal harbouring an evil sorceress, where would I be hidden?
I glanced at the binders of the books. They were dusty and fancy and looked something that Serena would enjoy reading.
Maybe I should've asked her to go this way, actually...I thought about that for second, she would probably enjoy this more but that isn't necessarily a good thing.
I sighed and resigned myself to searching the shelves for some kind of clue.A thought came to mind as I remembered Cairo and Ani waiting for us.
What made Cairo be so uncomfortable in front of Darrien? What did he say during Serena's talk?
I shuddered a little at Serena's talk. She was pretty damn angry about how I'd spoken to Darrien, even though he was being just as rude...
Serena seemed really worried about him, more than she normally was.
Like something was seriously wrong...well I'd agree with that at least.Darrien's been acting nuts lately. He felt like a different person most of the time. Swapping between attitudes at the drop of a hat.
As I walked something caught my eye. It was a book, but it was strangely colourful and bright compared to the boring books around it.I stared at it for a good long while. I started to reach out to it, every ounce of my instincts shouting at me. 'Damn it Cameryn! Stop!'
But I couldn't help myself. I held the dusty book in my hands, I notice the earth symbol that rested on the cover like a lock.
I knew I should put it back, I kept shouting at myself to put it back. But part of me wanted to see what was inside. I couldn't stop myself I touched the lock curiously, it started to glow causing me to drop the book.
I nearly slapped myself out of stupidity.
"What kind of magic have I let out...?" As it felt open a green glow started to grow forming into a woman, I gasped backing away "Oh...that's bad...that's really, really bad..."I turned running.
"Damn it Cameryn!" I shouted at myself.I have to find the others now, Shiko damn my stupidity!!
Darrien
I felt so strange as I walked back to the main chamber, I could already Serena was there but Cameryn hadn't shown up yet.
For some weird reason the moment I stepped into the house of hope I felt...strange, tired almost...but like I have a much clearer head...I have no clue why.
"Cameryn back?" I asked, Serena shook her head.
"No but-"
"Guys!!" Cameryn screamed I looked over really confused.
"What's the matter?" on closer inspection I added "You seem panicked"
"I touched this book...and...and..."
I frowned.
"Oh I see, Nike, Rollo. Get my brother and Ani and hide now""Don't worry Cam, we got this!" Serena announced, Ani yelled something at us as she dragged Cairo to a safe place.
"Serena, if that was Kira then neither of you can hurt each other!""What?" Cameryn asked, Serena nodded, seemingly understanding.
"I read about it, there's some kind of magic or something that stops Spirit Elements from hurting other Spirit elements"
