If I had the choice to maybe re-live everything happens in this story, I probably would. No Ragrets. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you.

“Listen girl, you sure about this?" I asked. I was already uncomfortable about all of the freshmen staring at me. To be honest though, I can see why. I was wearing a red with white polka dot 50's style bikini with high waisted bottoms and a strap-less top with a bow. With my height (I'm 5'10" and yes I am a soon to be senior) and my... um... figure, I looked great, and everyone was noticing. Even my boyfriend, Arik, got a little overly protective while we were walking to our spot on the beach. He always got a little bit jealous (adorable). Anyways, while we walked along the Jekyll Island shore (Arik and I, my bestie/sis Amber and her boyfriend Aionis and my other bestie/sis Nzinga [z for short] and her boyfriend Zuriel), I continued after Amber wouldn't answer.

“Hello?! Earth to big sister! Are you sure about this?"

“Sure about what?" she said, clearly making googly eyes Aionis.

“Just forget about it, never mind," I replied. I pulled Arik's arm tighter around my shoulders and held his hand. I know he's about 6'5", so hiding in him usually works. I don't why, but I felt so embarrassed. Gosh, I swear with me sometimes, you never know. But anyways, I'm getting off track. We're all from Grady High School in Atlanta, Georgia, but for our spring break, the school would fund a trip to Jekyll Island, an island off the coast. Everyone was cool with it, so here we are. However comma this is nothing compared to what we were going to do over the summer: everyone in squad (mentioned above) was going to be flying to Hawaii for an unsupervised trip for THREE months (count 'em 1 2 3) in our own 3 story 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom, full kitchen, full living area, full deck, pool, and indoor jacuzzi loft. We had bought everything ourselves and were literally counting down the days.

As we approached an empty spot big enough for all of us, Arik and I told them to start setting everything up while we got the jetskis. Yes. Jetskis. “Babyyyy, can I get on your back? It'll be easier," I said in my cutest voice. He didn't mind it so he picked me up and I rode all the way to the booth. At the booth, we payed and Arik followed the guy to the dock while I got the others.

I was the first to go, even though I was basically the most scared in the group. “Ready?" the guide yelled. “As ready as I'll ever be," I yelled back even though I wasn't really ready at all. As soon as we started moving, I was already screaming like crazy. I held on to the handles until my knuckles were white, still managing to steer however. I could hear my friends cheering me on slightly through the wind in my ears.

As soon as the guide and I got back to the dock, I could see almost everyone in our section of the beach at least watching me come back. When I arrived at the dock, not only did Arik grasp me in a bear hug, I noticed my hair had come loose from it's messy bun and was now in a halo of soft black curls framing my face. I have to admit, these are the best moments of life, don't you think?
