"It's graduation day!" I wake up to hear Reece screaming.

"Reece! The whole world doesn't have to know." I laugh.

"Oh yes it does, now get your lazy bum you and get ready! We have an exciting day ahead of us." I laugh even harder but finally get up.

I go to the bathroom in my room and take a shower. When I get out I wrap a towel around me and sit in my chair in front of my vanity.

I grab my blow dryer and started drying my hair then I straighten it. I think I will leave it down for once.

I start on the little make-up I am going to wear and then finish it within minutes. I only put mascara on.

I stand up and go to my closet and take my dress out if it's wrapping and put it on and then I put on my flats that match the dress.

The dress is grey and it reaches to my knee's. I grab my cap and gown and start walking down the stairs.

"Kids, come eat before you leave." Reece's mom says. I sit down at the kitchen island in front of a plate of pancakes. Reece is already digging into his food beside me.

"Are y'all excited?" Shirley questions.

"I think one of us is a little too excited." I laugh looking over at Reece and he just sticks his tongue out at me.

"Hey, you only graduate from high school one time." He says.

I finish eating my food and before I know it, I am standing in the stage waiting to give a speech.

"Hello everyone." I start off. "I haven't been to this school the entire school year, but I am glad I got the chance to even be apart of this school. I made great friends along the way. What I have learnt the most is to never give up. Don't even think about giving up. Obstacles that get in your way are just obstacles. You can get passed them. I hope everyone conquerors there dreams and make the best out of life."

The principal thanks me then I go and take my seat and she starts calling people up to the stage.

I am now sitting in a chair on the football field waiting to be called to get my diploma. Today, will be my last day in high school then it is time to go off into the real world.

"Syana Walsh." The principal says. I get up and walk to the stage and get my diploma, the principal shakes my head and congratulates me then I go and sit back down.

I wait until everyone has their diploma then the principal starts speaking into the microphone.

"This class of graduates have been one of my most interesting ones and might I add, I will miss every one of you. As Syana said once, I hope everyone achieves everything they wish to do." She says. We all throw our caps into the air, and start screaming. Then everyone starts finding there friends or families and starts conversing with them.

Everyone else is already up and I realise I am the only one sitting down still. I run over to dad and Jai. Jai and I start taking off our gowns then dad embraces us in a tight hug.

"Congratulations you two." Dad says.

"Thanks." We say.

"My kids are all grown up now." He says.

We sit and converse with our dad for awhile then I go and meet up with Samantha, Raven, and Reece.

"Hey guys. Want to go celebrate over lunch?" I say. They all nod there heads then we start going to a nice little diner. Reece is driving us all and I ended up being able to sit in the front with Reece.

"Oh, I got my acceptance letter into UCLA yesterday." Samantha chimes in.

"Wait, I did to!" Raven says.

"Reece and I are going to that college also" Say excitedly.

"How did we all end up going to the same college without knowing?" Reece laughs. We all start laughing along with him. That is so ironic.

We all jump out of the car once we are parked and go into the diner and take our seats.

"I am actually kind of sad high school is over." Samantha says.

"What? Why?" I question.

"I've lost and gained friends along they way. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy about it, but it is actually kind of scary to be off in the real world now. We only have a few months then we will all be in our dorm rooms without parent supervision. Only a couple years, then it's all on us." She answers.

"We can do it. We will always have each other." I say hugging her. "Don't be scared."

A waitress comes to us and takes our order then we all start talking about different things. I sit back in my chair and admire my friend group.

Everything I went through and I am now sitting here with all of my friends laughing. How did my life turn out so great in the end? Just a few months ago I was sure I would be left with nothing or anyone.

I may not have my mother anymore and I may have changed a lot, but everything is perfect. I have a great group of friends, I am going to my dream college and I have the best boyfriend I could possible ask for.

In just a couple years, I will be doing what I have always dreamed of doing and it will all happen. All because Everything started looking up for me.

I am going to miss all the good times I have had. And I will always remember all the bad. But it's not too bad, I guess you could say it gave my teenage years and interesting turn. I have also learnt a lot from all the bad and gained a lot. So, if I had the chance to go back in time and change everything, I wouldn't change a thing.

I have everything right where It needs to be.
