Chanyeol had finally joined his family for a meal and it's the first time Chaeyoung will be able to witness how he is with the rest of the new people in her life. It only had been 2 days since he was forgiven and no one knows of this yet. However, Jisoo had been observing the two lately even if she had never seen them together.

The subtle exchange of glances between the two were apparent. The soft smiles were visible despite both of them chewing. Seemed like the distance of their seats would not matter for these two are obviously flirting.

"Did I miss something?" Jimin asked, eyes fixed on his older brother.

"Ah yeah, I met with Hanbin last night..." Chanyeol answered, "I was gonna tell you after breakfast."

"That wasn't what I was referring to but, now that you mentioned it, any news?" The younger replied which immediately changes the expression across the older's face.

"Well, Dong Woo will not comply with our terms. His pride is greater than Chaeyoung's safety. However, he means to take her back by force." Chanyeol answered.

"What? What's so hard with our demand?" Jimin questioned as his palm hits the table. It's almost a week and they had not accomplished anything which frustrates the man. Despite the calmness of his tone, his expression and action could not hide his annoyance.

"Hanbin said he tried persuading the old man." Chanyeol shakes his head before letting out a long sigh.

In the midst of the brothers' conversation, everyone around the table were quietly eating. However, Chaeyoung put her spoon and fork down and lowered her head.

Somehow, hearing that they could't accomplish anything because they got the wrong girl makes her feel disappointed with her worth even if she knew she shouldn't have to feel this way. The situation is wrong in all the levels yet, she sympathizes with their feelings.

She felt useless and unnecessary once again.

"Uhm, can we not discuss this during a meal?" The gal beside her interrupted the brothers' discussion, noticing how Chaeyoung had reacted, "You're both being so insensitive."

However, a scoff left Jimin's lips with the rolling of his eyes, "All that work won't get compensated."

"I'm sorry." Chaeyoung muttered which had Chanyeol's back stiffened but before he could react, Jisoo exclaimed, "What are you apologizing for?!"

She the turns and glares at Jimin, "Aren't you feeling ashamed of yourself?! Even a single bit?! You ruined someone else's life!"

"Not when they took Jisung away! They permanently took him from us! We can't even get justice for what they've done! How do you expect me to feel shame when what they've done was worse than what we did! Did they fucking invite Jisung for a meal? or brought him breakfast in bed, or even made friends with him? NO! They fucking raped him and murdered him so why am I the one who should feel ashamed?!!" Jimin stood from his seat as he spout these words, tears threatening to fall from his eyes as anger took over him.

Jisoo was left speechless as she leans back against the backrest of her seat while watching Jimin storm out after his eruption. She understand how he feels. He may even felt forced to treat Chaeyoung kindly all through out her stay with them.

Chaeyoung wanted to ran away right then and there and just to hide from everyone but she was firm on her seat and could not move even an inch. Jimin had been treating her nicely and out of the words he had just let go, she realized that the guy was faking it all along.

Was Jisoo feeling the same?

Was Jisoo's resentment towards Chaeyoung masked by pity and rectitude?
