That night,Kayla lay in bed thinking about everything
Jay
Thellie
And the triplets.
She smiled weakly as she put them together
Would it really work ?
She sat up on her bed bringing her legs up to her chest and resting her head on her knees
This was way overdue
She thought about her friends and what they all meant to her.
But put together
They could mean so much more
Yet,as simple as it was,it really wasn't
She'd been thinking about it a lot and really wanted to get this whole drama and secrecy over and done with
Some sick part of her had always found the whole thing fun,but she knew deep down, the only thing stopping her from doing what she knew she had to do was dear
Fear of loosing it all
Loosing them all
And with that thought, one name sounded in her head
Jay
All day,,she'd thought about what had happened at lunch and as trivia as it'd been, she knew it had sparked something in Jay's mind
Recognition
He'd missed it all this while because he hadn't really connected the dots
Marino was probably the missing link
Who was she kidding
He was the missing link
The resemblance was too striking to miss
Earlier, she'd hoped that the fact that baby brother had had on a hoodie pulling it to the point where it completely hid his face would do a lot to prevent Jay from finding out the inevitable
Solving the puzzle
But the rational part of her knew Jay had seen it just like they all did
A replica
He hadn't said anything about to her yet
And maybe
Just maybe
He really hadn't bothered to look hard enough
She really needed to tell him
But that would be easier said than done, wouldn't it?
Wouldn't it ?
In her defense, she'd tried to tell him on so many occasions but it had really never seemed like the right time
Okay that was not completely a lie
But it was an absolute lie either.
On more occasions than she could count, she'd woken up with her mind made up to finally get this whole thing, whatever it was, over and done with
But
Yes,there's a always a but
She always ended up chickening out
Yep
She was a chicken
Guilty
