This is my first novel on my new wattpad account, so I hope you all enjoy. The first chapter will be up this week, but until then, here are a short synopsis, trigger warnings, some moodboards, and an excerpt. If this story sounds like something you'd be interested in, vote, comment, and/or add it to your reading list!

Story Descripton

Jacqueline Bailey is a starry-eyed geek longing for a storybook romance. Instead, she settles for Carter Camila (a safe option, seeing as attractive high school guys always intimidated her). After her first year at Southwark University, Jack grows more mature and questions her relationship with her high school sweetheart.
That's when the mysterious Griffin Chang nearly hits her with his motorcycle. Crass, isolated, and apathetic, Griffin was the last person Jack expected to fall for. However, after many laborious partner assignments, some drunken nights, and getting lost in the woods, Griffin's mask disappears and Jack learns his deepest secrets, some of which could put her life in danger.

Trigger Warnings

This book will contain light-hearted and funny scenes, but it will go to dark places later. Please do not read if you have personal problems or are triggered by depression and other mental health issues, suicide, substance abuse, and gun violence. Don't let this warning scare you too much, though. For the most part, this story is fun and appropriate, but it wouldn't be accurate to real life if I didn't include heavy subjects.

So About Those Warnings...

The problem with including the full extent of these warnings is that I would reveal some major plot spoilers. However, if you have had personal experience of any kind related to gun violence, or are triggered by a certain element of any of the other themes listed, I'll include a link to a document containing spoilers. I will clarify that the violence in this novel is not going to relate in any way to racial issues or police brutality, so if that is what you are triggered by, don't worry. It's nothing like that.

So anyway, the spoilery link is attached to this part (click "external link"). However, I think you can only view it on the web version.

On A Lighter Note... Moodboards!
