"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Matthew 6:30

Grace POV

"Bye, see you in the evening!" I said to Debby, waving enthusiastically, and I watched the cab she took until it went out of sight. ' such a lazy girl ' I thought amused at her way of taking a cab so she wouldn't need to walk all the way to her house which was just few blocks away, after the tiring exercise. "I am so glad that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, I am so glad that Jesus loves me...." I sang as I walked into my two room apartment. It was what one could call home. Upon getting my degree in the university, and reaching age twenty, I had decided to move out of my parents house in a quest for greater heights. Though my parents weren't happy about it, I had convinced them and bribed them with my cute priceless smile, which immediately worked, they were just everything I could have asked for, how I wished I had listened to them.

The sound of a truck brought me out of my reverie, making me look out to see what was going on. It was a new neighbor, a man, who was moving in. That wasn't what drew my attention, it was the little baby in his hands, the baby couldn't be more than a year, and as the baby and I locked eyes, I couldn't but feel this weird feeling, making me look away immediately.

Taking out an egg, I fried it, and along with it, I made some pancakes, drizzled with Nutella and topped with strawberries. I was in between healthy and unhealthy, I loved playing around with food. Setting it out on my two chaired table along with one of my smoothies, a banana smoothie, I proceeded to take a bath.

While taking my peaceful warm bath, I was disturbed by the ringing sound of my phone. "Who's that !!!!" I shouted like the phone was going to pick itself. I dreaded getting out of the hot water in my bath tub, to the cold that awaited me, and seeing as there was no one except me in the whole apartment, I had no other choice. It was in situations like this that I thanked God for making me a good athlete, and so I sprinted out of the bathroom taking a bath robe and drowning in it's warmth.

"Mam, we've gotten the materials you asked us to get" I heard the soft voice of Lily say when I picked up my phone.

"Lily, how many times have I told you not to call me Mam, you make me feel old sometimes, and we all know I'm nothing near old" I replied

"I'm sorry Ma- Grace"

"No need to apologise, you'll are like sisters to me, what kind of sister would I be if I treated you'll badly?" Not receiving any response from her, I proceeded, "I'll be coming soon, then we can talk, till then remain blessed" I informed her, and after hearing a " amen, stay blessed too", I cut the call.

Dressing up in a decent black dress, and a white sandal, I proceeded to have my breakfast.

Hope you had a wonderful day. Till next time-Silee
