Chapter 21: Man up

Luke's POV:

After Sydney and I both let go of each other in the hall I couldn't help but look at her beauty. Her smile was so amazing, and breath taking. Her blue/grey eyes, I could stair into all day long. I also loved the feeling of her small fragile body against mine, as I held her in my arms. After we said our good byes I waited in the hall until she was out of my sight.

Back inside I sat back down on the couch and all the boys were starring at me. "So?!?!" Ashton said. "What?" I asked. They all huffed. "What happened?" Calum asked. I calmly said "she left." like I wasn't getting what they don't understand. "We got that dumb ass. Did you kiss her?!?!" Michael yelled at me from across the room rolling his eyes. "No...." I said quietly. "Why not?" Mikey added. "Dude you so should have." Calum spoke. "We just hugged." I said shrugging my shoulders. "Well that's at least something." Ash said.

"Did you ask her out?" "Was I suppose to?" I said confused about where they were coming from. "Yes!" They all yelled. "Bro she's seriously into you or she wouldn't have stayed that long. You better do something about it before another guy does." "Yeah, fast, especially since shes so smoking." Mikey added. They were right. She was amazing and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if someone else got her because I was too much of a pussy.

I went to my room and grabbed my phone, as I fell on to my bed. I quickly called Sydney and hoped for the best. I quickly dialed her number and I was getting crazy nervous.

L: "Hey" I quickly spat out, not sounding cool at all, as I hoped I would.

S: "Hey Luke, whats up? Did I forget something there?" Even over the phone her voice sounded angelic.

L: "Oh no, I just wanted to ask you something." Again I completely stuttered out my words.

S: "Okay shoot." Taking a very deep breath, when I exhaled I gained a little smig of confidence.

L: "So I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?"

S: "Just the two of us? No band mates?" She spoke making me grin.

L: "Yeah."

S: "And do I have to pay?" I could hear the playfulness in her voice.

L: "I mean if you really want to...." I played back, hoping I was making her smile.

S: "LUKE!" Her yelling my name really made me laugh at how cute she is.

L: "Of course you don't. So what do you say?" Now my fingers were crossed, just hoping that I hadn't screwed up to much yet.

S: "Sure, it sounds fun." Relief washed over my entire body just then.

L: "Okay cool. It will probably sometime next week if that's okay."

S: "Yeah that's fine."

L: "Cool, well I'll talk to you soon then."

S: "Okay bye Luke."

L: "Bye Sydney." and the call ended.

After we talked for a little bit she finally agreed to let me take her out in a real date. I was so excited she said that she would go. And it actually went way better than I thought it would go.

A bit later there was a knock on my door and Ashton came in. "Hey man." I said. But I guess I much have been cheesing or something because he said "why are you so happy?" I tried I hide it "what do you mean?" He got a smirk knowing he knew "who were you just talking to?" "I just asked Sydney on a date." I said confidently. "Really? Did she say yes?" "Well yeah she said yes." I stated. Why else would I be happy, especially if she said no. "Wow dude that's great. I didn't think you had the balls."

okay again i know this took forever... i dont know if I would exactly call it writers block or what but im back now!

so like i said before i got tickets to the ROCK OUT WITH YOUR SOCKS OUT TOUR and..... the ON THE ROAD AGAIN TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so much easier to go to concert once you have a job and can pay for them, plus when you can drive and heres the best part... they are the same week!!!!
