*sigh* I wish something interesting would happen...

Willow thought as she worked through her Advanced Chemistry essay. Everything is the same. Every day, I wake up, get an outfit from my fabulous wardrobe, she glances at her bulging walk-in closet, eat breakfast, and go to school. I'm so bored with this. The last exciting thing that happened to me was getting Pixie Rose.

*Sidenote* Pixie Rose is a poodle that is died light pink

"Willow, which one for your party on Saturday?" Pippa and Sadie said, holding up a knee-length blue and an ankle-length purple shimmery skirt. "Definitely the purple. It brings out your eyes." Willow replied. "Thanks, sis! Oh, and by the way, happy early birthday!" They said as they walked out of the doorway.
"Willow, time for dinner!" Mrs. Chloe Kennedy shouted from the kitchen. "Coming mom!!" Willow shouted back. "And leave your phone in your room!" "Yes, ma'am." Willow cleaned off her desk and stuffed her almost finished essay into her already full backpack.
In the dining room, Jake O'Malley, Willows step-dad, Luca, Carlo, Pippa, Sadie, and Gramma Jane we're already seated around the table. Even their unborn sister's high chair was placed on the corner by her mom's seat. A quick glance at the chore calendar told the teen that it was her turn to set the table. She grumbled and went over to the cabinets that held the place settings.
As she grabbed the dishes, she heard the oven ding and her mom heading over to take out whatever she was cooking.
Willow had just finished setting out the silverware when her mom came hurrying in with a steaming hot pan of Vegetable Casserole, Willows's favorite meal. "Will you two go get the sauces and fruit kebabs?" Mrs. Kennedy said to the twins. As they scurried towards the kitchen, the mom-to-be sat her 9-month-pregnant-due-any-day self down at the head of the table with her 15 and 364-day old daughter at her side.
"Well sweetie, are you excited to be 16?" Mom said. "Yeah, but I'm even more excited for Luca to quit picking his nose at the table and for Carlo to quit kicking me!" She replied. A look that read 'Don't make me come over there and make you stop' was thrown at her 10 and 6-year-old brothers. Willow shot her mom a thankful look when the twins came in with their load.
"Dinner was a good mom! Thanks!" Willow called as she went back upstairs to finish her chemistry paper. As soon as she sat down with her now crumpled essay in hand, Luca came barging into her with his virtual reality goggles on.
"Luca, GET OUT!"
"WHY!! THE ZOMBIE IS IN YOUR ROOM!! AND PLUS, YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!"
"GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I THROW MY BACKPACK AT YOUR HEAD!"
"I DARE YOU!"
"FINE THEN!"
Willow picks up her heavy backpack and throws it across the room, hitting her brother right on the head.
"OUCH!! IM TELLING MOM!"
"TELL HER THEN!"

Luca runs out of her room screaming for his mom while the teen grabbed a pencil and continues towards finishing her essay. A few seconds later, a very angry Luca storms by her room. "Here stupid." He said followed by a note being thrown at her head. "Brat" she mumbled as she opened the balled up piece of paper. It read
"Clean out your backpack so it doesn't leave a bruise next time
                                       -Mom"
Willow smiled at her mom's remark, glad she wasn't in trouble. After I finish my essay, I'll clean it out. It looks like a pig pen in there. Slowly but surely, she finished her 3-page essay. As she put her name and her class sign, a thing people recognize her by at Starside Academy, she glanced at the clock. 9:35 already!!!! I thought it was 8:00! I have to clean my backpack and get my stuff ready for my birthday. She hurriedly cleaned out her messy backpack and put her completed essay in her chemistry folder. Then, she went to her closet and got out her new dress, shoes, and necklace and set them on her dresser, all the while slipping on her nightclothes.
As Willow climbed into her bed with her phone, her mom popped in to say goodnight and happy early birthday. When she glanced back at her phone after her mom left, it was 9:57. I really need to go to sleep. I don't want to be tired on my birthday! She thought giddily.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLOW!!!!!" Was what started her awake the next day.  She saw her family standing around her bed. The next thing she knew, her vision went fuzzy. She kept blinking and blinking, and when it finally went away, her family was gone. She looked around her room, and everything was fine. She got up and walked to her door. What was on the other side, she would never forget.
