Normal Pov
You were a fairly new maid at the Phantomhive Estate and had only been working there for about a month. Already Mey-rin, Finni, and Bard had become some of your closest friends. One reason being that the combined clumsiness of the three led to you being appointed as a leader over them by none other than the mysteriously handsome Phantomhive butler Sebastian Michaelis. His raven hair, crimson eyes, and lithe movements never failed to enchant you. As you were day-dreaming about said butler, you were in the garden scolding Finni about the fact that instead of trimming the hedges as instructed he had managed to burn them down with the help of the demon hound Pluto. Quite frankly, you were curious as to why he had even had Pluto helping him again since this had happened before.
After ordering Finni to re-trim the hedges, you strolled back through the manor's garden to finish your other chores. All of a sudden, you heard a tiny meow as you were walking. Deciding to follow the sound, you rounded a corner of the garden and found a small black kitten. Being a cat lover, your eyes lit up in delight as you picked up the kitten and cuddled and cooed at it.
"I think I'll name you (k/n)," you said to it as you listened to it purr.
Knowing of the young lord's cat allergy, you knew Ciel wouldn't let you keep it and knew that Sebastian probably wouldn't let you keep it either. So, you decided to hide the kitten behind your back and attempt to sneak it to your room in the manor and past Sebastian and the others. Surprising even yourself, you actually made it to your room with the kitten and fetched it a bowl of fresh milk from the kitchen. After making sure that the ball of fur was well situated you brushed the cat hair off of your maid dress and continued with your chores.
Sebastian's Pov
I had watched as (y/n) had scolded Finni and smiled to myself. This new maid had been turning out to be an excellent addition to the manor's staff. She certainly has been helping out around the manor and is quite beautiful. Her (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes always reminded me of a cat,I silently mused to myself. Suddenly, a call from the young master interrupted my thoughts and I continued to think about her as I made my way to the young master's office to see what was requested of me.
Normal Pov
Finally, you had finished with your work for the day. Now I can go play with (k/n) you thought to yourself. Opening your bedroom door, you held up the piece of tuna you had snuck from the kitchen like a ninja while Bard wasn't watching,and you called for the kitten. Not hearing or seeing the kitten, you began to get a little worried and searched your whole room for (k/n). Soon, you realized that (k/n) wasn't in your room and you cursed under your breath, now the hunt was on.
The first thing you did was look down all the hallways on the second floor. Since that was the floor your room was on, you contained your search to there. Besides, the kitten could not have gotten down the stairs you thought to yourself. After finding nothing, you went back through the hallways and searched all the rooms. You found nothing in your search until you got to the last room in the hallway, Sebastian's room. Knowing that Sebastian was still working and attending to the young master, you knew that he probably would not be done and come back to his room for the next few hours.
Just to be safe you knocked and upon hearing no answer you pushed open the door and prayed that your kitten would be inside. The first thing that you noticed about Sebastian's room was the tidiness. It looked as if no one had ever slept in the bed or even lived in the room. The second thing you noticed was (k/n) pawing at the door to the wardrobe and meowing. Being true to the saying curiosity killed the cat, you opened the wardrobe to see what (k/n) was fussing about, and yelped as you were buried alive by.....cats! Finally, you pushed yourself out of the mound of fur and looked around. There had to have been at least 15 cats that Sebastian had hidden in his wardrobe. Which with the knowledge of Sebastian's love for cats, didn't really surprise you.
Seeing as you were also a cat lover you felt like you were in heaven. You went over and laid down on Sebastian's bed, imitating the cat's meowing. One by one all the cats jumped onto the bed and laid down on or next to you. (k/n) curled up next to your head. After a few minutes, you began to get drowsy and against your better judgment you fell asleep on Sebastian's bed.
Sebastian's Pov
Finally, the young master is in bed, and all the preparations for tomorrow have been made I thought to myself. Now I can finally relax with all my cats. Opening the door, I glanced at my bed and was completely surprised. (y/n) was sleeping on my bed covered in all the cats that I kept hidden in my dresser. A beautiful, black kitten that I didn't recognize was curled up and sleeping beside (y/n)'s peaceful face. I watched her move and twitch in her sleep and chuckled. She looked so cute sleeping and surrounded by all my favorite animals. I was just watching her sleep, not wanting to wake her up, when she suddenly woke up and yawned, stretching much like a cat.
Normal Pov
You awoke and yawned, stretching. Looking around the room, your gaze landed on the door and you almost fell off of the bed when you saw an amused Sebastian standing in the doorway.
"I see you've found my cats, but may I inquire as to why you are sleeping in my bed," Sebastian asked with his usual smirk.
"I-I was just looking for my kitten and then it was meowing at your wardrobe and I found the cats and....sorry Sebastian just please don't tell Ciel about (k/n)," you stuttered out.
"On the contrary," Sebastian stated as he walked over and sat next to you on the bed, stroking (k/n)'s fur," you may keep the kitten in my room so the young master doesn't see it."
Shocked, all you could do was thank Sebastian. For the next hour, the two of you petted and played with the cats and talked. Finally, you yawned and decided it was time to retire to bed. Leaving (k/n) on the bed, Sebastian led you to the door and you thanked him once again.
"No thanks are needed (y/n), it was nice to have someone to spend time and share my cats with. You may come to my room anytime you would like to talk or play with the (k/n) or the other cats. It'll be our little secret." Sebastian said as he smiled and put a gloved finger to his lips.
Walking back to your room, you smiled as you thought about the time you had spent with Sebastian. You would definitely be going back tomorrow.
