Training

When i woke up i noticed she was next to me. I got a little worried but i heard the water in my bathroom running. "I wonder if she remembers about last night." Crap what if she does?!! "Dante are you up?" her gentle voice pierced through my train of thought. "Yeah i just woke up. Did you need something?" i wanted to sound as normal as i could. "I couldnt find a towel, can you bring me one?" And just like that i felt like i was gonna die. "S-sure." instead of a pumped man that wouldve jumped at the chance to see a girl in the shower i acted with more sence. I grabbed a black bandana and covered my eyes. I had the towel in my arm so i was feeling my way around. I opened the door and felt a lot of steam. I placed the towel on the sink and tried to find my way out. I hit the wall a few times before I found the exit. I heard her open the door and I still had the bandana on and just in case that wasnt enough I also turned around. "How did you sleep?" i didnt know what i asked til i heard myself. Crap what am i saying?!! What if she remembers and then what?!! "Pretty good. Thanks for staying with me. I had a weird dram. You were in it." "What was it about?" i asked cause i didnt know what she meant. "Oh nothing!" her cheeks got a little red. I guess she thought that what happened last night was a dream. I knew that they were red cause i took off the blindfold cause she was already dressed. After i dropped her off at home and talked to her mom about what happened it turns out that her mom and dad got in a fight. She just took out her anger on Sky. When i walked back to the car i felt someone else's presence behind me. "What is it Heath?" i dont know how i knew i just did. "We need to train you. You cant activate your gift without her being in danger. That just might be the death of you." his voice sounded so cold not like the pervert from before. "Whats your point? " "My point is that, what if your mom or someone else is in danger? If shes the only trigger then you wont be able to save anyone." At that moment he knew how to get to me. "Since when do i save people?! I'm not a damn superhero! I'll keep everyone safe but i sure as hell wont go looking for trouble." I sounded way surer that i actually was. "Thats why you need help. Ill help you activate it and then after you can do what you want with it." "Okay..where do we start?" i cant believe i was trusting him. We drove for 30 min until we reached a weird house. "This is where everyone with a gift comes to train." the look in his eyes showed me that he wasnt telling me anything. "Ok so where do we start." i started to get worried. If he was willing to help me then how big was this threat. He showed me into the house and put me through some weird tasks. Hitting a dummy and braking boards. After all that he took me to the pond in the back. "Concentrate. Just think about what you want to protect and do it." I did what he said. But all that came to  my head was Sky. And thats when i felt it. I felt my tattoo activate. He told me to walk on the water and focus. For some reason what he said made sense. I opened my eyes and i was actually doing it. My eyes widened and then i fell in. "What happened?!" i said it while spitting out water. " You lost concentration. Keep it up until you do it right." I had no choice but at least i knew i could do it. So this is where it starts.
