A New Player

December 15 2020, explosions rang out in the distance as a bombs fall on Syria. The crunch of buildings fall, and and the screams of men women and children can be herd for miles. But they aren't American bombers these bombers are Syrian. For about 10 years Syria has been in a civil war with Assad Regime the leader of Syria.
The reason why they are bombing there own city is because American troops are here and a lot of anti Assad live here too.
After the bombing raid Medics search the area for survivors. One of them is a fighter pilot but being stationed as a medical doctor callsign Phoenix.
As she is waking around she hears a child screaming and raced to where the scream came from, a pile of rubble. She starts digging through the piles of brick and stone when she reaches the child she is mortified the kids parents where laying next to the child dead with blood and burn marks as for the child, her arm was crushed by a piece of stone and he left leg was gone. Phoenix pulled the child out of the rubble and made a beeline for the hospital tent.
The kid's arm that was crushed by the stone had to be amputated. But she survived and was being shipped a prosthetic arm and leg.
As Phoenix back out of the tent to look for more people she came across a piece of metal debris is was part of the missile it had a red star on it indicating that it was Russian.
Phoenix doesn't know weather to report this to the general because she doesn't want a wider war, but she is ordered to report every thing.
She decides not to report it because the last thing she needs is for more innocent children to get killed. As she walks back to the tent she sees on the TV that CNN is reporting that a missile strike on a American base was ordered by Russia and that Russia has declared war against the United States.
Phoenix heart sinks. She drops to the ground in tears.
Then the sound of a missile screech's over and then an explosion in the distance.
