Kaoru's Journey

It was the middle of the night Kaoru Kamiya was in her room rereading the letter that she received 5 hours ago.

*flashback*

It was early that evening when Kenshin was done fixing dinner for everyone. Yahiko was finishing up with his training, while Kaoru was watching him. Sanosuke yells out to them " Yo, Missy, Yahiko if you don't come eat your food. I'll eat it for you" When Yahiko heard Sanosuke he had fire in his eyes. "You freeloader, you BETTER NOT TOUCH MY FOOD!!!!!!!!! Let go hurry Kaoru". Before Kaoru can get to far she heard someone at her front door. "I'll join everyone after I see who's at the door" she went to the front door seeing a very tall man with long blond hair smiling at her.

"May I help you Sir?" He hand Kaoru a envelope. "I was told to deliver this envelope to Kamiya Kaoru" He answered her with a sassy voice. After he gives her the envelope he smirks at Kaoru then walks away. After Kaoru closed the door, she opens the envelope that had a letter. She reads it.

( Miss, Kamiya Kaoru. You're to come my place at once. I need to have a huge conversation with you. It is very important. If I don't see you at my place in 6 days someone in your household might end up hurt or killed. Where is my matter? My name is Touma I'll be waiting for you. One more thing come alone.)

After Kaoru read the letter she remembers someone by the name of Touma and was more dangerous than anyone she knows. Sanosuke walks up to Kaoru. "Missy who was at the front door and what is that letter?"

Kaoru looked at Sanosuke then hid the letter in her pocket "Nothing serious at all. Wow, it's this late? Dinner must be getting cold. Excused me Sanosuke" She quickly ran to go eat Sanosuke watching her.

*Flashback ends*

"What should I do?" Kaoru thinking in her mind. "By the way it sounds, it might be serious. I don't want Touma and his men to hurt or kill the people that are dear to me. How am I supposed to find his place if I..." She looked inside the envelope seeing another letter. When she open it, it wasn't a letter. It was a map to where Touma was at. She knew if she were to go alone everyone would worry about her especially Kenshin. While everyone was sound a sleep. Kaoru quickly packs thing she needed, after she was done Kaoru looks to make sure no one was around. She quickly went up to the gate opening it then made her way down the ally.

Kaoru ran until she got near a bridge then she looked back making sure no one was following her. After that, she continued to walk into the night going down a path.

Next morning Kenshin wakes up then walks outside seeing Yahiko "Well good morning Yahiko." Yahiko looks at Kenshin "hey Kenshin, I been looking for Kaoru. She promise to train me some more today but I can't seem to find her." Kenshin scratched his head "Maybe Miss, Kaoru went into to town. Don't worry Yahiko, she'll be back that she will" Yahiko just grinned at Kenshin.

7 hours have passed Kaoru hasn't returned from town yet. Kenshin was pacing back of forth and Yahiko was trying to pretend he's no worried about Kaoru. "Why don't we go into town Kenshin and go see what ugly is up to and why she's taking so long"... Kenshin had sweat on his head after that mark but he was getting worried about Kaoru.

Kenshin and Yahiko went into town to see if they can find their friend. Yahiko points to the Akabeko they go in looked around Kaoru wasn't there, Tae saw Kenshin and Yahiko walking up to them "How's it going, guys? Have you 2 come to eat? Where's Kaoru?" Kenshin looks at Tae "We were wondering the same thing. Miss Kaoru hasn't been home most of the day. I hope she's not hurt or anything...." Tae can tell by the way Kenshin spoke something might be wrong. "She promise me she'll help me train today." They leave the Akabeko thinking she might be at the doctor's house.
