"After a certain amount of time has passed, the class trial will begin!" Shijime heard Monokuma's voice from the monitor behind her, "So you chumps better get investigating!"
"B-body? Someone's was k-killed?" Shijime thought to herself, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. Her mind was distraught and confused- thoughts bouncing back and forth off the sides of her skull. The legs that were once frozen were now in full force as Shijime bolted back up the path, the world spinning around her as tears began to blind her. She reached the hotel and found Yori weeping buckets of tears into Tamuhei's chest.
"Why did it have to be Popee?!" She managed to whimper between the sniffles and sobs.
"Popee?" Shijime caught the pair's attention but Yori just stared at her blankly and returned to crying.
"In there," Tamu mouthed to Shijime as he pointed in the direction of the library.
The Nail Artist followed his direction and entered the corridor that connected the library to the restaurant but noticed the other corridor that diverged from the main one and, in there, she was met with a horrific scene.

Popee's body was bloody and punctured. Many stab wounds were scattered across his chest and arms. They looked sporadic and clumsy, almost like each laceration was inflicted in a blind rage. A strange substance was spilt over the floor and hallway and bits of broken glass were strewn about the area. Popee's face was locked in time forever as a complexion of pure horror and suprise. Shijime couldn't bear to look at the corpse anymore and returned to the restaurant feeling as sick as dog. By this time, everyone had shown up at the hotel thanks to the body discovery announcement. A low hum of tears, mumbling and anger flooded the room as people learnt of Popee's death yet only one person spoke out.
"It's 4pm now," Aki almost sounded excited, "Do we have any idea of when one of  us killed Popee?"
"Us?" August looked like he was trying to keep calm in this time of despair and nervously laughed, "None of us would have done it?"
"It's a killing game, you idiot," Aki condescended, "Only the participants can kill, obviously,"
"W-whichever one of you killed him, come forward now!" Yori squealed angrily.
"Upupupupu," a laugh bounced of all the walls as Monokuma appeared from upstairs, "I don't think that'll work, Miss Teddy Bear,"
The bear jumped on to a table and called everyone closer.
"Now, one of your classmates is dead," Monokuma chuckled, "Boohoo, who cares. It's now time for you to investigate and I will help by giving you The Monokuma File!"
The bear passed out a small electronic device labelled the 'Monokuma File' which displayed details of Popee's body and crime scene.

"So, Popee died an hour ago?" Levan piped up.
"Yup," Monokuma grinned, "You'd best all give your alibis from the time,"
And with that, Monokuma disappeared- leaving the room in its state of confusion.
"Ok so Alib-" Shijime was about to start questioning.
"Hey!" Marinette shouted, "Who gives you the authority to lead the investigation? For all we know, you're the murderer!"
"I would never murder anyone!" Shijime retorted, trying to defend herself.
"Well then," Yutani looked suspiciously at Shiji, "Where were you at 3pm?"
"Me?" Shijime was shocked that her classmates would turn on her like this, "I-I was at the lazy river,"
"Can anyone support that alibi?" Yutani asked.
"N-no," Shijime realised hiw suspicious she looked, "I was alone,"
"That's it!" Yori yelled, "Shijime did it!"
"Just hold on a a minute," Tadaki spoke out from Levan's arms. He almost looked like he was enjoying this, "We should all give out our alibis, don't you think? I'll go first. I...was alone in my room so I too haven't got a foolproof alibi!"
"What the hell Tadaki?" Levan looked shocked at his boyfriend, "Are you trying to look suspicious?"
"But it's more fun this way!" Tadaki laughed, "Anyway, what's your alibi?"
"Me?" Levan looked a little suprised, "Me and Yutani were exploring at 3pm and we saw Yori go into her room."
"Yeah, I went for a nap," Yori sniffled, "Tamu woke me up around 3:45 and that's when we found...him."
"So someone else found the body before you 2 but didn't tell anyone," Aki deduced, "Monokuma said that the body discovery announcement would play after 3 people found the body- not including the murderer,"
"So who found the body first?" Tib asked.
"They didn't tell anyone when they found it so they won't say it now," Aki shook his head and smirked, "I suppose you'll be wanting my alibi. Well, I was exploring alone so add that to the list of bad alibis,"
"You seem to be excited by this, Aki," August's face looked concerned.
"The mystery is harder to solve when more people are suspicious," Aki laughed as he sipped his tea, "The harder the mystery, the more exciting it is. Anyway, Australian boy, where were you?"
"Me and Tamu were trying to explore more of the park from about noon till 3:30pm," August responded, clutching his avocado plushie close to his chest, "Hana met up with us at around 2:30pm and was complaining about something or other,"
"Hey!" Hana lightly slapped his arm, "The plants in the hotel are fake and that's a problem, although obviously not as big of a problem as this..."
"Oh, and I was with Marinette in her room," The Ultimate Mariachi said. Hitori got close to August and whispered in his ear, "I was using my skills to serenade her. I think she liked it!"
August just gave him a thumbs up as he held back a laugh.
"What about you Aiko?" Aki took another swig of tea.
"Oh me?" Aiko was busy comforting Yori, "I was with Tib in my room, helping her with her Japanese,"
"I was in the library at 3pm," Kai mumbled, "Emiko was there at that time too."
"Ah yes," Emiko shuffled in her seat, "I was doing my daily reading."
"So Hara and Genki," Shijime didn't think either of them would kill, yet she didn't exactly think anyone was going to kill but obviously someone did, "Where were you two?"
"I was in my room..." Hara sounded disappointed in herself.
"Me too," Genki sighed.
"Can anyone support your alibis?" Aki grinned.
Both of them shook their heads.
"So, there we have it!" Tadaki giggled, "Multiple people with no alibis! This is fun!"
Shijime glanced around the room and, realising she was one of the most suspicious, decided to try and prove herself by being helpful during the investigation. However, the first thing she noticed was glitter on Tadaki's face...
