"hey mike..." Jane said walking up to Mike
"hey Jane." he said smiling.
"Wanna go inside?" Jane asked
"yes." he said holding his hand out to let Jane hold his hand.
Jane held his hand and they walked into the gym/the snowball.
Jane said she was gonna get some punch and Mike nodded.
"Mike...You ned to tell her." Will said
"I will okay?"
Jane came up to him, drank her punch, and asked Mike to dance with her.
"of course i will." mike said and they went to the dance floor to dance
"i don't really know how to dance..i've never danced before..i mean i've danced before but not like this-"
"me either.." mike said smiling "we'll learn together."
"so i think you put your hands on my shoulders..." mike said "then i put my hands on your waist."
"okay." Jane said softly
mike knew he needed to tell el...
"Jane?" Mike asked
"yes?"
"i need to tell you something..."
"ok, what is it? you know you can tell me anything."
"um...can we talk somewhere private?"
"sure, let's talk outside.."
Jane held mike's hand and they went outside.
"okay what did you need to tell me?"
mike's face got red and he said, "well.. i-"
"well if it isn't the frog face and the nerd.." troy said coming up to them
"leave us alone troy." Jane said
"he hasn't told you..has he?" troy said while smirking
"told me what?" Jane said confused
"didn't you know? me and mike made a deal if you could fall in love with him."
troy said laughing and walked away
"what? mike tell me this isn't true."
mike said nothing
"mike! tell me he's lying!! tell me you actually like me!!"
"of course i actually like you..." mike said
"tell me the deal wasn't real."
"Jane.."
"tell me!!"
mike said nothing again.
"so you were using me?!"
"no..but i-"
"no. i was actually liked you. a lot.." Jane said as tears were forming in her eyes.
Jane tried to walk away but Mike held on to her wrist.
"let go of me!!" she yelled
"Jane!! please..."
"mike. I thought you liked me." Jane closed her eyes. "But then i thought, why would anyone like me? no boys like me..or even talk to me. Jane opened her eyes back up
"I never wanna talk or see you again mike wheeler." then Jane left
and mike realized he lost his soulmate forever.
