Y/N's POV
Qrow had gotten bad, really bad. I couldn't keep him stable anymore. we were on our way to try to find some help. I was carrying Qrow on a makeshift stretcher with Jaune, Ruby and Ren at the front Pyrrha and Nora at the rear.
Ruby: Just hold on, Uncle Qrow.
Qrow: Tai. She's not... coming... *grunts in pain* Tai.
Qrow began to cough repeatedly. He was slightly delirious and getting worse.
Jaune: He's getting worse.
Ruby: How much farther?
Nora: We've gotta be close.
Ren: Without the map, there's no way of knowing. But I feel like we're close to something.
Ren holstered StormFlower. I didn't raise my voice as I knew we would have to cross some unforgiving terrain and that Qrow might not make it.
Ruby: *to Ren* What is it?
Directly ahead we saw that there was a signpost in a fork in the road. To the right Mistral, to the left Kuroyuri, its name crossed out. The path to the right was mountainous and rocky, while the path to the left was low ground.
Nora: Hey, hey! Mistral! We're on the right path! Oh...
Ruby: Does it say how close?!
Pyrrha: No. And it looks like the path takes us up the mountains.
Jaune and I set Qrow down.
Jaune: Guys, I don't know if all of us can make that climb.
Ruby looked to Qrow, concerned, and rushed to the signpost.
Ruby: Okay. Well, what about this place.
She pointed to the left.
Ruby: Kuro... Kuroyuri? Can we get help there?
Jaune approached the signpost.
Ren: That village was destroyed years ago.
Jaune: But if it takes us around the mountains, it's the best bet we've got.
Ren: *sternly* It will take too long.
Ruby: The town would have had a doctor, right? Maybe we could scavenge for medicine!
Jaune: Right!
I noticed Ren getting angry and nodded to Nora and Pyrrha. Nora placed a hand on Ren's shoulder.
Nora: We can split up.
Ruby: Huh?
Nora: Ren and I can cut through the mountains while you all take Qrow around through the village.
