Chapter 34 I Love Him But I Gotta Let Him Go

The next morning we all went over to Jason's apartment and had my other brother come with his family too. Before that we had gone to the jewellry store and helped Jason pick out a engagment ring since Jason wanted to propose today.

When we got there, Chloe was watching tv.

The more I walked in the apartment, the more I didn't want him to do this now.

I leaned on the counter and grabbed onto it just in case I passed out and Nathan was right next to me with his arms crossed.

Jason walked over to Chloe and they said their hello's and I turned away when they kissed because I knew I would cry or attack her or something.

Then I heard him ask her to get up. Liam and Cher gasped bc now they knew what he was doing.

He got down on one knee and proposed to her. I looked straight at her as she was crying and nodded.

It was my turn to talk.

"Now, as you should know, I'm very protective of my brothers and I've had this talk with Cher before they married." I said as I walked closer in my back stilettos.

"It's true." Cher said. "And she's not kidding. Trust me." She then said.

"If you hurt my brother, I'll kill you. And if you ever get a divorce and try to stalk him like the last girl, I will kill you slowly and painfully, got it?" I asked.

She nodded and smiled at me sweetly. "I know you are and I could never hurt him, I would die before I hurt him." She said.

"Good." I said with squinted eyes.

Then I walked off outside the apartment before I would cry in front of everyone and look weak.

I got in my Lamborghini and began to tear up at the thought of my other brother getting married after so long of not dating anyone because he didn't even believe love was real. I mean I didn't either really but look at me now.

I heard a knock on the window and looked to see it was Jason.

I rolled down the window and said "what?" While trying not to sniffle.

"I need a big sisterly hug." He said and I laughed. I got out of the car and hugged him tight to me. He kissed the top of my head and said "No matter what, you'll always be my sister, I can promise you that." I smiled and sniffled.

"I know that, but all of us are growing up so fast it's just unfair. I know you and Liam are gonna be like this when I get engaged so you'll know my struggle. Even though I'm younger than you, I feel like you're my son, best friend, and dad all summed up into one so its hard to let go but I guess I have to. I just love you so much Jason." I explained and then hugged him again while sobs began to come out.

"Come on. Let's go." He said as he lead me to the passenger side of his car and drove off to wherever he was taking me.

I immediately recognized the street and soon he pulled in to the familiar house.

We walked in and straight to the backyard where there was a pool and a swing set there that we played on when we were younger.

"Why did you bring us here?" I asked.

"Because of the fun times we had here. These are only gonna be memories and we've got to keep creating them, whether they are good or bad. I know it seems like we've all grown up so fast but that's the way it's suppose to be. I'm sorry I can't really make it better but let's make it into a great celebration. Let's go out to a club with everyone and just drink and do whatever the hell we want!" He yelled and I laughed.

That night, I dressed in my leather shorts and cropped top with cross-cross panty hose and 4 inch heels and Nathan was dressed in dark skinny jeans with a black t-shirt and leather jacket with biker boots.

Me and Nathan, with my brothers and their wives went out while someone was babysitting my nephew and we merged my friends there too to celebrate Jason's engagement.

We all went our separate ways to get drinks.

I got a tonic and gin and Nathan got a beer.

I was definitely going to need this drink. I downed that drink and just settled with a bud light.

Me and Nathan began dancing together drunk on both of our second drinks already.

"I love you baby." I said to him as we got another shot of liquor.

"Wahoo!" I screamed after I downed it.

I noticed Nathan was looked at my pretty exposed boobs and I pulled him closer.

He looked at me like I was crazy and so I closed my eyes, waiting for him to say no but instead, I felt him touch my face gently.

"Of course I do sweet pea. I love you so much to do that." He replied and I relaxed.

"Good." I breathed out and snuggled close to him with my left leg in between his. And I fell asleep with him playing with my hair.
