CHAPTER ONE - ARRIVAL

"this must be the place" a teen with a large bag in hand stares at a large building and enters the gate. he had arrived at Regal academy school.

Tenma Lloyd, a 17 year old stud had been admitted to a football academy highschool without any knowledge of the history and reputation of Regal academy.

Regal academy,
if this school was to be described in one word, that is mediocre.

In fact some hyperbole was used there. Because if average were a noun, they would be that.
You could also say the worst highschool in the state because whenever failure was mentioned, they were what came to people's minds.

They never lacked in facilities and equipment or staff but academic performance wasn't their strong point either, let's just say that they still had a say in things like that and surprisingly a lot of students still schooled here.

In the terms of brilliance, the press club aren't the brightest stars of all but still managed to make top 50 in rankings in the annual competitions held. This was always due to a group known as 'encyclopedians' . You could tell by the name that most of them consisted of some geeks and most of the students body council, most people saw them as a group of dorks though.

In the area of sports, Regal academy engage in soccer alone. You could say that it's mostly a sporting academy but due to most parents continuously pestering the school board to engage and invest more in books than pitches and sporting equipment.

This was due to confusion when students were enrolled and thought the school based mostly on study without making any enquiry on the details.
Various parents protested and threatened to withdraw their wards from the school and since the initial entrance fees paid where not refundable the board had no choice but to comply and implement these new changes.

Students where now forced to go to classrooms and learn a thing or two about something as academic performance now contributed to the requirements for graduation, as this contributed to the fall from glory to grass.

But Regal academy was still a soccer institution so most students present wanted to venture into a professional football career and hoped to one day be called into the international squad for Japan and the untalented would rather take a different line still in line with sports like analysis, coaching, commentary and so on most whom fell under this category were in the press club and where about 25% of the school

One may stop to wonder where the flaws of this school lay, well in spite of the school basing mostly on sports and soccer to be exact, Regal academy is no where near being gifted with talents.

Regal academy is a mixed boarding school consisting of both male and female students as both engage in same lecture and classroom but differ in class squads or teams. Every class had a male team and female team from junior I to senior III of each possessed both male and female representatives. And finally there is the male and female junior and senior team respectively as this principle is adopted by all soccer institutes in the world.

Firstly, the male team lack in experience and moral coupled with their low-level teamwork which always brought about poor or a times mediocre performance, the team even have a 19 game losing streak and have only won a game in a past competition. They never made it past the group stage and now have no hope in aiming for a win anymore.

The coach, Mr Harry is a formidable tactician whom although is inexperienced, possess a resilient character and outstanding football knowledge and skills but doesn't seem to be responsible for the team's losses but is however blamed due to his responsibility of the players. He is aware of the cause of their frequent losses which is the lack of teamwork and has always tried in working on this but all to no avail. He always discusses this with the manager, Mrs Ayano, a busty Japanese woman without any experience in soccer as she was placed in there due to her relationship with the principal and didn't even get to do a thing as the coach took care of everything else.
