I've been keeping a secret from everyone I know, not that I know that many people. I have friends, Levy, Erza, and Lisanna. Those are my only true friends. Others have either stabbed me in the back, used me, or never cared. It's fine though, I love the friends I have.

I get out of bed, missing it already. "I really don't want to go to school today." I whisper to myself. But, I guess I'll just have to deal with it, not like I want to go to school any other day, but I do.

I open my closet, grabbing a pink sweater dress and stockings. I quickly change, looking at myself in the mirror.

"I don't mean to be self-absorbed, but I look good in this dress." I smirk at myself, grabbing a hair tie and pulling my hair up into a side ponytail.

Once I'm ready to leave the house, I grab my bag and put some bread in the toaster, blasting my favorite band, twenty one pilots, in my headphones.

As soon as the toast is done, I smother it in jelly, sitting down and checking the time. "Huh, it's only 6:30?" I groan. I always get up too early. "Guess I should take my time since the bus doesn't come until 7:20."

I slowly take a bite of my toast, scrolling through my contacts to find Levy. I tap her contact and FaceTime her. "Hey, Lev." I say with a smile. "Hi Lu! What's up?" She grins. "Nothin much, I got up too early and I have a lot of time until the bus comes," I sigh. "Ah, I do that a lot," she laughs. "Guess that's why we're besties, we're so alike." I giggle. "Levy! Come down and eat breakfast!" A voice called out in the distance of my call. "Eek, I gotta go Lu." She waved and hung up.

I finished my toast and walked over to my sofa, plopping down on it. I look over at a picture of my parents, Layla and Jude Heartfilia. They both died, my mother went before him, but both are still gone, and I miss them.

I kiss my hand and place it on the picture. "Love you guys." I smile mournfully.

Eventually I pass the time by reading, so I then walk outside to the bus. I walk on and greet the bus driver, walking to the back of the bus where Levy's sitting. "Hey Levy." I greet casually. "Hi again Lu."

She pats the seat next to her, gesturing me to sit there. I take the seat and lean back, closing my eyes. "I don't know why I wake up so early." I groan. "Maybe it's because you go to bed so early! Last night you texted me at 7 that you were going to sleep, and you fall asleep fast, Lu-chan." She laughed.

I looked away, "I was really tired I suppose." I shrug. "You could say that again." She joked. I giggled at her comment, leaning on her shoulder. "

How's your situation with Gajeel?" I whisper with a slight laugh. "W-well... I mean, w-we aren't anything serious... or s-something..." I didn't have to look at her to tell she was blushing. "Awe, don't get embarrassed Levy! I think you two are really cute together,"

I smirk and nudge her shoulder. "W-whatever, Lu-chan." She fidgeted around with her hands and I shut my eyes, still leaning on her.

When we arrived at school, we walked together to our lockers, which fortunately are right next to one another. I grab my needed books, chatting with Levy as we make our way to class.

We're peacefully talking when suddenly there's a voice that sends shivers through my body. "Lucy." His cold voice called out to me. Levy also stopped in her tracks, knowing that this guy has been using me for a while now.

"Lucy, don't look back." She whispers to me, trying to calm me down by wrapping an arm around me. "No, Levy. I can handle this." I say trying to hide the tremble in my voice.

"Gray." I turn around to face him. "What do you need this time?" I question, succeeding to hide my shaking voice.

"I'd like to meet with you after school today." He insists. "Again?" I question, staring at his gaze. He nods and smirks, "you aren't scared, are you?"

He leans closer to me, making me flinch back. "N-no?" I stammer, failing to keep my voice straight. "Sure you aren't."

He backs away finally, stepping back. "Meet me in the back right after school, I'll be waiting." He says bluntly, turning around and walking away.

I gulp and turn back to Levy, who is standing in awe. "Lu, how long has he been doing this?" She asks with concern. "This is the third time he's asked to meet up this month. I can't say no, of course."

I place my finger tips to my forehead, rubbing it gently. "I have no other choice but to agree." I sigh.

"Maybe you should do something about it," Levy insists. "I don't want to make anything worse, so I'll just keep doing this." I shrug it off, continuing to walk to class. "Let's not be late today," I smile, pulling Levy with me. "Alright..." she nods, following me to class.

~ Gray's POV ~

"Meet me in the back right after school, I'll be waiting." I state, looking down at Lucy. I turn around to walk away, making my way to class.

I arrive there, and sit in my regular spot, next to Natsu. "Hi Gray," he says, waving at me. "Hey Natsu." I greet in return.

"What's the news with that girl you've been talking with?" He asks me. "Who, Lucy?" I furrow my eyebrows. "Yeah, her." He agreed.

"I just talked to her, we're meeting after school." I did tell Natsu about Lucy, just not the full story. I didn't tell him that I'm using her. Yeah I admit it, I am. But if Natsu were to know, he'd definitely not approve of it, so I lied and told him that I like her.

"Hm. Good for you man." He laughed, slapping me on the back playfully. "Yeah, I guess." I laugh.

"Alright alright, students. Settle down." Our teacher, Makarov says, walking up to his desk. He starts to ramble on about boring history stuff, so I just decide to fall asleep.
