Having the beauty gifted from Aphrodite herself, Astraea Estella Lilia Aquam locked herself in her room. Which is located in a castle. Deep in the waters. Well, deep in the Atlantic Ocean to be exact.

She is ashamed to be called the most beautiful woman or to have supposedly the most beautiful voice in Siren's history.

She simply dislikes attention.

It doesn't help that her father is the King of the Atlantic Ocean and her mother who is also the most respected and well-liked Queen, who came from the direct descent of the Greek God Poseidon.

She is bound to get attention. Her sisters and brothers may like it but she doesn't.

Estella likes to just stay at her room all day and read till her eyes hurt.

But what would happen if she is forced to attend a party that she wants no part of?

Why is a person she barely knows, keeps repeatedly saying the word 'mate' to her?

What does the word 'mate' have anything to do with her anyway?

Prologue: Estella's POV

Werewolves are supernatural creatures that has a human form who have the capability of shifting to a wolf. They contain supernatural hearing, sensing, hindsight, and strength. The sound of lightly knocks echoed through my dimmed room and reached to where I was sitting by my massive window.

I closed my book and put it back to my book shelf.

I sighed and looked at my door.

This better be worth it, I said to myself while I pulled my hood farther down to my face.

I opened my door and looked up to see the most graceful being that ever lays in this vast ocean, my mother.

"Come downstairs with us Estella, we're having a family meeting"

I nodded my head but was still confused since we haven't had a family meeting in a century.

I followed mother downstairs to the family meeting room.

The family meeting room is just a small room with couches and blankets which overall has a cozy feeling to it.

We swam in and I saw my father taking the armchair, my younger twin sisters Despoina and Daphne sitting together on the carpet, my older twin brothers Nephele and Nereus sat next to them, my older brother Okeanos occupy a whole couch to himself, and my older sister Phaedra occupied another couch but she put her tail down when she saw me and pat the seat next to her.

I smiled to her and sat next to her.

"So you guys are probably wondering why we're holding a family meeting. It's about the matter of the Starnight Ball" said father.

"The what?' said Despoina.

"You don't remember from last century or the century before? It's the ball where all the supernatural elites and their families gather together to this huge ball to enhance our relationships with each other" said Daphne.

"That's right Daphne. And this year, the Elders made it mandatory that every immediate family members have to attend" said father.

After he said that, I sprung right up from the couch.

"W-wait, d-does that mean"

"Yes sorry Estella but you have to attend. I know you hate revealing your face in public and you hate attention but I have no choice. It's the Elder's order" said father.

"Do I have to show my face?" I said to my parents.

"I'm afraid you have to darling" said mother.

I sat down on the couch and hugged my knees.

This is totally not worth it.
