The round, Silverish moon was half way on it's on the sky. Dark clouds covered the starlights from the ground in bigger spots.
Only smaller mammals, mice and voles, disturbed the silence of the forest, as they climbed out from their homes. The owls flew above the trees, searching for prey to feed their owlets, who were waiting in a branch unpatiently.
The small creatures raised their heads and perked their ears forward, snarls and growls echoed trought the forest, breaking the silence, the peaceful air slowly filled with the tight, spicy smell of blood. Then silence, but it didn't Last long, a final, painful yelp echoed at Last. The forest went silent again.
A big, muscular brown male Wolf, held down a half of his size Female, a black one. The Female pulled her lips Back into a silent snarl as she couldn't escape. Blood poured down from several injuries, but she stayed strong, mentally.
The muscular male's grip Last long enough for his packmates limp closer, Lowering their head as they stared at the held down Female fiercely, expect one, Who's yelp could be heard earlier, the grey Wolf layed on his side, Panting heavily while blood poured down from an a ripped injury on his neck.
"Give up and let me leave" the black Female growled up loudly, Struggling in her brother's grip. The brown male opened his mouth, to growl Back, that she cannot leave, but the Female not letting his chance go, nothingescaped. Shifting on her paws she leaned her head to the side, dodging a snap from one of her former packmates.
Turning around with a threatening snarl, she ran into the shades. Her black pelt become one of the darkness. Heavy steps warned her about her chasers, and she knew, she won't be able to run far enough from them to loose them.
Racing out of the forest, with her chasers behind her Back, they went further and further from the forest, toward the unknown.
