We all climb into the Uber, headed towards the house where the party's held. Poppy's wearing a mermaid-print rose gold dress with her golden-blonde hair dutch braided neatly. Emily's wearing an off the shoulder red dress with her very blonde hair perfectly straightened and loose.
"How was first day back ladies?" I ask wondering if it was as bad as they thought. "I mean stress for GCSE's is really hitting now but it was alright I guess" Pops shrugs. "Aw Popsicle you'll be fine" I nudge her. "Yes it's getting quite serious" Emily sighs "but I'll be okay. What about your A levels?" "That shits stressful too but GCSE's really aren't that bad it's gonna be fine" I smile reassuringly.
A few minutes later we pull up outside a literal MANSION. I thank the driver and look at Emily and Poppy who are smiling widely "Holy shit" I say and step out of the vehicle. I can hear the loud upbeat music from the inside travelling to outside. "Woahh" Em and Pops say in unison. "MADIKINS" I hear a loud voice from a few meters away. "Hi El" I giggle and give her a big hug "you're looking fine". "Well so do you the fuck" she loops her arm in mine and we walk towards the door. Ella knocks three times and the door swings open to reveal a tall man. "FINNEAS MY MAN" she practically yells and bear hugs him. I stand there with my eyes wide open and looking back at Em and Pops to which they shrug nonchalantly. "This is my bestie Maddie and her besties Emily and Poppy" she introduces us and Finneas smiles and welcomes us in.
The place is fucking huge and there are multicoloured lights everywhere and a speaker on every wall. He must have a lot of parties. The place is extremely stuffy and crowded I feel like I practically can't breathe so I try and find my way to the garden with my gals close behind. Finally, we find fresh air. There is a pool lit up by colourful lights and there are people dancing and chatting. It seems less hectic out here so we decide to stay by the pool. We take our shoes off and dip our feet in the water which is beautifully warm. I would've brought a bikini if I had known there was a pool. I heard a familiar voice talking to someone so I turn around and see Billie. She makes eye contact with me and I shiver as I see a confused look wash over her face. I snap my head back round and try to start having a conversation with Emily about school work. "Well, well, well if it isn't the shorty I drenched this morning" I can almost hear her smirk. "Oh hi Billie, didn't see you there" I say sarcastically. "Liar, you looked straight at me" she smirks.
