Chapter 12
Alyssa’s POV
I saw Jessie striding confidently into the house through the open glass door, a smile beaming through her lips and her maxi skirt waving from side to side following her hips. I knew she had been to her ‘log’, she had told me about it the day she had found it.
“What’s got you on cloud nine?” I ask, eager to hear her story.
“To the room, Mac’s probably around here somewhere”
We raced up the stairs to our ivory room, closing the door behind us and sitting face-to-face on the bed.
“Sooooo…spill!”
She recalls everything to me in great detail. As soon as she finishes her last sentence, taking a deep breath, we both begin squealing.
“Girrrrl, you’re going to get yourself a college boy!”
“I know!”
And the squealing began again. It continued like that for the next 2 minutes until Mac walked in, automatically ending our squealing fest. He leaned against the wall beside the door looking at us.
“Hey, what’s with all the noise?”
“Nothing” we replied simultaneously, dragging the word out.
“I’m not going to let this slide but we all agreed to play spin the bottle, you in?”
“Hell yeah!” I reply for the both of us, jumping of the bed. Jessie repeated my actions and we all left the room together.
Jumping off the bottom of the stairs and feeling really energized, I skip to the living room but stop before I’m seen and wait for Jessie so we could continue giving off a cool aura to the college guys.
We enter the living room after a few breaths; the boys were already sitting in a circle waiting for us with a few missing spots and the bottle in the centre. Jake and Tyler sat beside each other talking with a missing spot probably for Mac beside Jake. Jenna sat beside Tyler and beside her sat Lukas; there was a huge gap after him – probably for us – and then Jason. Mac, Jessie and I filled the gaps and the game began.
*************************************
We had been playing the game for half an hour and there had been quite a couple scandalous kisses. Jake had started the game by kissing Jenna. Tyler went next by kissing Jason, which had been extremely awkward. Jenna had gone next trying to influence the bottle by staring at Mac; it was obvious how much she was attracted to him but much to her dismay the bottle stopped at Jake.
She winked at him, crawling to the middle of the circle to give him his kiss, saying “Come here, let mama show you what a real kiss is”
Crawling to the middle as well, Jake just laughed and as he got there he held her face and pouted his lips. As they kissed I couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous.
It was then Lukas’ turn whose his spin ended on Jason but he vehemently refused to kiss him; the alternative was to take off a piece of clothing, much to Jessie’s delight. Jessie, who had been bouncing around beside me, was next and she got to kiss Jason. It had come to me – finally! - and my first kiss in the game was by Jake.
I could hear Tyler whisper to him, “Fuck man, you’re stealing all my game!”
We were sitting almost opposite each other so we had to crawl to the middle. When we reached each other he put one hand in my hair and the other on my lower back while I had both my hands on the sides of his face, we leaned into each other and our lips met. Fireworks. That’s the only way I could describe it. His lips were soft, smooth and slightly cool, probably because of the beer he was drinking. As he licked my lower lip, someone behind us cleared their throat. It was like we had both forgotten that we were in the middle of a circle of people. As I sat back in my spot, Jessie immediately whispered to me, “That. Was. Hot”
