"What in gods name do you two think you're doing." Liz says to Luke and I. Neither one of us new what to do or say. We just stared at Liz completely dumbfounded.
"Ummm... We were... Umm." Luke says to Liz not sure what to say. "It looked like you two were kissing but I must have been seeing things Right?" she replies "Um..no. We were kissing." I say and then hop down off the counter and head towards Liz. "Please don't tell Val. She'd hate me if she new." I beg "I won't say anything hun. But you two have to be more careful and there better not be any se.." "Okay mum we will." Luke says cutting Liz off and the two of us e it the kitchen and go back to Val who was still in the living room watching tv.
"That was close" Luke whispers to me. "Yeah I know." Luke and I take a seat on separate couches. The whole time we were watching tv Luke was staring at me. I would glance over occasionally and he would give a little half smile. After about an hour Val looked at me and I looked back at her. I knew what she was thinking. She wanted to leave. The two of us got up off the couch and went upstairs to her room leaving Luke there all alone.
We got up to her room. I take a seat on the end of her bed and she shuts the door and turns around looking straight at me. "What's going on between you and Luke?" She asks me. I had no idea what to say to her. I just stared blankly at her.
