Hey guys! So I would just like to say that this oneshot is dedicated to my friend alwaysbewithdraco as it's mainly based on a dream she had a few nights ago (although it has been edited a little so that it flows better.) I offered to make it into a oneshot for her so here we are. I hope you enjoy reading this little story as much as I enjoyed writing it (even if alwaysbewithdraco kept bugging me to finish.) this is also not edited, so there will most likely be a few typos around here. "Neville, will you pass me the bacon?" Keira Softly, a heavily freckled, green eyed witch, said groggily, sitting down at the Gryffindor table for breakfast along with Raquel Olim, a dark haired girl with warm brown eyes, who proceeded to pour her coffee onto her cheeri-owls. The band of eighth year students had really been feeling the pressure as the revision for their N.E.W.T's began (Even if it was only early December.) Thankfully, headmistress McGonagall had organized a yule ball for all students at Hogwarts, and they finally had something to look forward to.

Speaking of McGonagall, one of the two Ravenclaw's in the friendship group, Amelia (although she really preferred Mia) McGonagall, the stern professors great-niece, had just stumbled up to the table, falling tiredly into her seat between ron and Hermione, across from Keira who was now on her sixth slice of bacon. Her long brown hair half covered her face as she pushed her glasses onto the bridge of her nose for what must have been the fiftieth time that morning.

"Morning." she mumbled, nibbling on a slice of toast that Harry had handed her.

"Morning." Raquel yawned, scooping some of her coffee coated cereal into her mouth. The friend's ate in silence for a while, each one of them too tired to make any meaningful conversation, that was until Keira almost spat out her pumpkin juice as a thought popped into her head.

"It's the last day of term!" She exclaimed. Her words didn't quite have the effect she had expected, for only half of the group seemed pleased.

Ron started to cheer and Harry nearly choked on his eggs, Raquel seemed to have started to understand what was happening around her and Hermione looked somewhat relieved, Dean brightened up quickly and Seamus spilt porridge all down his front, Mia didn't really react at all - still constantly upset over the untimely demise of her last boyfriend - and a small smile spread on Luna and Neville's face's.

"What's up with you lot of boring bum's?" Pansy Parkinson asked, joining the unusual gathering.

"Yes, how come Everyone's gone back to third of may sadness? It's almost Christmas for goodness sake!" Astoria Greengrass added, also piling in on the small section of table.

"Don't ask me," Keira mumbled, standing up slowly and heading towards the door, "now, I have to see where Draco's gone - we're supposed to have a meeting with McGonagall - but I haven't got a clue what it's about." she left the hall" still chewing on het bacon, as Blaise Zabini and Theodore Nott entered.

As soon as she was gone, Pansy produced a bag of gold from her pocket.

"Three galleons say he asks her out by the end of the week."

Raquel produced an even bigger bag of gold.

"Five that they go the the yule ball together."

"I still have no idea what that was about." Keira admitted as She, the head girl, and Draco Malfoy, Head boy, as they descended the steps from professor McGonagall's Office.
