When Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos were kids, they were trying to follow into their parents footsteps and cause mischief. Carlos didn't want to do anything bad but instead, he was a follower and had to do what his friends did. one time, they saw a man with a bucket of fruit and mal said "let's knock over that thing and steal some" then Carlos said "I don't know guys it just doesn't seem right" then Jay said "Carlos you're as soft as a dog, just have some fun" then evie said "yeah! There's nothing wrong with being rotten to the core" Carlos wasn't so sure about stealing fruit but agreed to do it anyway. Mal knocked over the bucket and evie, Jay, and Carlos took some fruit. "Hey!" The man said "you kids stay away from my fruit!" Then later, they went to play with the pirate crew. Uma, harry, gil were playing with the other pirates. "Hi!" Uma said "wanna play?" Then mal said "sorry we don't play with fishy people" then it made uma very upset. "Hey! That wasn't very nice" harry said then Jay said "oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?" Then mal pushed uma to the ground and Jay and evie were laughing with mal even Carlos but he only pretended to laugh so his friends won't think of him as soft. "Hey!" Harry said "what did you do that for?" Then Gil said "you guys should be the ones to get pushed to the ground" then mal said "oh shut up we are the core four and we rule this town" then uma got up and said "you guys act like you're the kings and queens of the isle" then mal said "yeah we are and you will never be SHRIMPY!" then uma felt angry and wanted to fight mal but instead she ran off and harry and gil went to comfort her. "Don't listen to those bullies" harry said "you are not shrimpy you are UMA! That's your name" then gil said "shrimpy does sound funny but I agree it's not cool" harry got annoyed by gil then uma just kept crying. "Great you made her even more sad!" Harry said
