picturethat one person. the color of their beautiful dazzling eyes, their soft stunningly perfect hair, their unbelievable looks. But did you just realize who thefirst person to pop up in your mind was?do you regret it? or are you unsure about that? do youwishit wassomeone else instead?do you miss them? do you wish that you had that time machine.?

Her name is Chloe.Shesilentlystands there perfectly still like a statue with the only thing affecting her is thecasuallywithdraw from thewind. She is at school, or as most teenagers see it;Hell frozen over. It seems to be a Chilly Fall morning as she looks around the scene of the cold, mile-high,bulkysteps in front of the band room in which her familiar class mates she defines as her friends all in close themselves at and where they use their blustering laughs and where continual re-occurring drama all creates it’s origin. She looks UN-certainly at the people around in which give their snobby judgmental and stereotypical looks. She feelUn-easy and embarrassedby how half of her class mates are standing in one circle laughing frantically and vibrantly; while the other half stand in their UN-usually shaped oval formation and scream and yell at eachother about something stupid.she wishes and wishesthat it would all stop. thateveryone wouldjust get alongandrestorewhat peace they had. she asks herself, “Why..? if he hadn’t been invited into our social group none of this would have happened” or “why..?maybe if i step in and he-..No..thatwouldn’t work..because then someone would be mad at me…Why!?! why can’t this all just stop?!?!why can’t i do anything….” She is shattered. They all are. but Chloe can’t even stand it, and she wants out.The only other person who can’t take it even more was Alexis, but Alexis had been through so much, no one could blame her. Chloe and Alexis were great friends in elementary school, but as they reached middle school that all got altered and seemed to have changed. slowly and slowly; day by day; they seem to drift apart more and more..almost like a plane leaving for its destination. it all has to start somewhere, and at some point land somewhere. andThese two girl’s friendship was about to have a crash landingin the middle of the ocean in which they call their emotion filled tears and horrid thoughts. Her friends would often ask her “are your ok?” or “whats wrong Chloe?” or sometimes “What happened?” and all that Chloe could bring her ripped open heart and scrambled mind to say was“yeah. im fine.”but she knew that she wasn’t. although, what was she supposed to say? “NO. my world is breaking itself down with global warming. global warming i call my emotions, actions, and the people around me”? She couldn’t bring herself to tell her friends that. She felt it hard to tell them anything…Ever sense the previous year that was. After the worst year of her life yet; she found herself to the point where she trust no one.shecouldn’tand she wouldn’t because she knewif she did they would find out more than they originally needed to know, and would some how find a way to use it against her. Well they did, and still do. During that previous year she had just turned age 13 anddiscovered her friends stabbed her in the back, and her first Boyfriend-scratch that-the guy who asked her out then dumped her after a weekwhile he turned the knife, were people she couldn’t bring herself to understand. she didn’t get the point to it. she didn’t and still doesn’t understand why they would want to do that to her, why the didn’t feel bad, why they didn’t regret it, just why in general. and yet this girl still stays up at night after almost a year crying all night and not being able to sleep until past 3 a.m. in the morning…

Chloe was walking on broken glass.Broken glass that she called her heart.
