Three Years Ago : BNHA/MHA Wolf Chirldren AU [BakuDeku]

The News

Bakugou Katsuki. Midoriya Izuku's childhood best friend turned rival. Although they absolutely despise eachother, they still have nicknames they use for one another since they were young. Bakugou's nickname being 'Kacchan' and Midoriya's being 'Deku'. One of them being nicer than the other.

Ever since the two boys were very young, Deku has always known about Kacchan's life-crumbling secret. He and his family have the genetic ability to transform themselves into wolves. This ability has been present throughout all of Kacchan's life and so when the boys were little, Kacchan would sometimes sprout himself a pair of wolf ears and a tail to entertain Deku. When Inko, Deku's mother found out about the Bakugou's family secret, she was originally horrified, but then learned that they meant no harm. They were just like any other human, just they could become a wolf.

Another thing Deku knew about Bakugou's family, was that they were particularly angry.. especially Kacchan. All throughout their school years, Deku would see Kacchan holding back the urge to snap and go wolf on Deku, or somebody else. Over time, Kacchan got a lot better at containing himself.

On a Thursday afternoon, Inko walked into Deku's bedroom to give him some exciting news. On another street in another house, Mitsuki, Kacchan's mother, walked into Kacchan's room to give him also, some exciting news.

"WHAT?" Yelled the two boys, Deku's yell being of fear and Kacchan's of anger. "K-kacchan's coming here? To stay at our house? For a week?" stuttered Deku in a panic, as he also learned that Kacchan was going over to his house tomorrow and Deku hadn't been able to mentally prepare himself sleeping in the same house—possibly the same room, as Bakugou Katsuki. Meanwhile in the Bakugou household, things weren't going as calmly...

"THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN MAKE ME STAY AT THAT NERD'S HOUSE FOR A WEEK! WHY DO I EVEN NEED TO GO THERE ANYWAYS?" Yelled Kacchan to his mother. He was red with rage, as he was about to snap his laptop in two. "Your father, Inko and I are going on a short holiday to get some time away from you two.. unlike you, Inko and I are still very close friends." Replied Mistuki, with a slight annoyance in her tone. "SO I'M GOING TO BE THERE ALONE WITH HIM? WHY CAN'T I STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE?" Answered Kacchan, still yelling. "The Midoriya family is the only family we can trust with our family's secret! All of our other relatives live too far away from us for you to stay there and still attend school! DON'T BE SO RUDE!" said Mitsuki, losing her temper.

The next day went past surprisingly quickly for the two boys. At the end of the day, Deku was waiting by the gate of the school for Kacchan, after waiting a few minutes, Kacchan walked up to Deku. "I- Uh- Do you remember.." Deku started, but he didn't get to finish what he was trying to say since Kacchan had already started walking. "Let's go, nerd" It seemed as if Kacchan was once again taking the lead. 'Oh, I guess he remembers which way my house is...' Deku thought to himself.

As the two walked together, occasionally the two boys' arms would brush against eachother, this caused Deku to turn bright red and desperately try to hide his face from Kacchan's view. Eventually they were at Deku's front door, and Deku was fiddling with the door key to try and get it open as quickly as possible so that Kacchan didn't get- "Hurry up Deku!" mad...

As soon as Deku got the door open, he immediately let Kacchan in first because, you know, manners. Once Deku closed the door, Kacchan was waiting for Deku to show him the way through the house. As Kacchan followed Deku into the living room, Kacchan gave Deku a little flick to the back of the head, not hard, but enough to make Deku flinch a tad. "Would you like a drink?" asked Deku in the nicest way possible when they entered the house's main room. "Water." Replied Kacchan bluntly, he was looking around the room at all of the photos of Deku.

Kacchan spotted a photo of Deku and himself playing in a small sandpit as children. Kacchan smiled a little bit and looked to the next photo. It was a school photo from this year of Deku, smiling brightly with his dark, messy, green hair. 'Cute...' Thought Kacchan. Then, Deku walked back into the room with two glasses of water in his hands, one for himself, and one for Kacchan. "Took you long enough." Said Kacchan, whilst taking one of the glasses from Deku. Deku frowned and sat down on one of the sofas. Kacchan sat on the sofa opposite Deku.

"So Kacchan..." Started Deku, but he didn't know what to talk about with him. "Why do you still call me that?" asked Kacchan, annoyance in his tone. A beat. "Wh-what?" stuttered Deku. "I said, why do you still call me that name, 'Kacchan' or whatever." Replied Kacchan, mocking Deku's voice as he said 'Kacchan'. "Oh, I, uh.." said Deku, trying to form the right words. "Do you not know how to say my name? It's Katsuki, Ka-tsu-ki." said Kacchan. "Ka- Kasu- Kassy- Kaki-" started Deku, but Kacchan cut him off, "You know what, don't bother. Stupid Deku." Deku had a look of slight embarrassment on his face and looked down at the floor.

A few minutes went by as the two of them sat awkwardly in silence, until Kacchan finally spoke. "So where am I sleeping?" he asked, not looking up from his half drunk glass of water. "Oh, uh, I was thinking maybe the couch?" Replied Deku. Kacchan looked up angrily. "YOU WANT ME TO SLEEP ON THE COUCH? WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM? HOMELESS?" Kacchan shouted as his spiky wolf teeth started to bare. "I-I," Deku stuttered, but he couldn't make out any words. Suddenly, Deku's annoyance got the better of him. "WELL WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO MY PRINCE? SLEEP ON A DOG BED?" Deku was filled with immediate regret. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME YOU BASTARD?" Kacchan yelled, standing up with his sharp teeth showing, wolf ears, a tail and claws. Deku looked at him in utter horror. "I-I'm so sorry Kacchan, I didn't mean it really I-" Suddenly Deku got a hit to the face and is left with a sharp pain on his face. Kacchan ran out of the room and found his way into the bathroom. He locked the door.

Kacchan was shaking in anger. 'THAT STUPID BASTARD. HOW DARE HE CALL ME A DOG!' Kacchan thought to himself. He then felt guilty after making Deku bleed. Kacchan stood up, opened the door and walked down to the kitchen where Deku was frantically looking for some sort of first-aid kit to stop his face from bleeding. Deku saw Kacchan and froze in his place. Fearfully looking Kacchan in the eye.

"Sorry..." Kacchan begun. "I brought plasters with me incase something like this were to happen. I'll go get them. While I'm getting them, wash your face with something clean so that it doesn't get infected." He said. Deku looked surprised by how nice Kacchan was being all of a sudden, but nodded and turned around to the sink to turn on the tap.

After Kacchan had stuck a big, white plaster on Deku's face, they sat down at the dining table. "I think the two of us need to make an agreement." Stated Deku. Kacchan looked up as if to say 'I'm listening?'... Or it could've easily been 'What now?'. You never really know with Kacchan. Deku continued "I think that instead of having constant arguments, whenever we get mad at one another, we should say so, and change the topic. What do you think?" Deku looked at Kacchan hopefully. "Fine." Replied the blond-haired boy.

Later that night, the two decided that Kacchan could sleep on a blow-up mattress in Deku's room. That night, the two lie awake talking to eachother about what they might do for the next three days, they have an extra day off on Monday for some reason. Eventually, the two say their goodnights, and nod off to sleep.
