Chapter 1 - The House

Alexa opened the door to the huge old mansion, and it creaked open. She looked up the marble staircase where her room was and swallowed the lump in her throat.

"I can do this," Alexa muttered to herself. She stepped nimbly on the first step and her footstep echoed around the house.

The house creeped her out. Much to her dismay, her mum, brother, and herself had moved out of the city and into a huge old mansion, that was cheap.

Alexa left the house and grabbed a box marked "MAKEUP" and began up the steps.

Her footsteps echoed and Alexa winced, at the unusually loud sound.

She'd just have to deal with it. Once she had reached the top of the stairs, she was faced with two choices.

A hallway, and another staircase.

Alexa was tired and picked the hallway. She tried the first door on her right but it was locked.

She frowned and tried the door again. "Whatever." She mumbled. She countiued down the hallway and opened the first door on her left, which was unlocked...
