Parallel lines never meet...
My morning started a bit early today, I woke up around 4:00am... actually I hardly slept last night- first the cafe incident and next the anxiety of the new job kept on banging my head....
Every morning brings beginnings , today is a very important day for me....I am up for my new job my first interview...it's not that I have never done a job before.... but Khanna uncle is my father's friend working with him was a pleasure..the ambiennce there was homely he was there eto guide me, I worked with dignity there; this is the first time I am going to face people whom I am actually not aware of ,the type of person they are ....how they will treat me and what if I make mistakes....there will be no one to guide me,but still I want to do it; I want to get this job .... shrugging my thoughts away I went to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast for everyone ,cooking is my stress booster it always calms my nerves down, after around half and hour my Mother appeared and we both greeted each other Good Morning....... She said let me help you with this and I said it's almost done Maa I will manage it and kept the dishes on the dining table, Sukh has her day off today from school as she got to prepare for her Science Quiz
and Papa is out of town for some work....
We ate the breakfast and Roohi said complementing me, I don't need to go to restaurants anymore I have hired for myself three Chef's clearly pointing at me , Maa and Papa.......
I gave her a small smile,
Maa sensed nervousness out of me and She gave me one of her best assuring smile and said "Don't worry you will definately get the job and will have a great interview " at this I said what if I don't ....she nodded and said "it's Ok to fail sometimes but it's not Ok to have fear in you that you can't do it.....never give up and never loose hope upon yourself ...we trust you...you can do it and u will do it".....
her words were a delight to my soul and I stood up to hug her

and embraced her in a bone crushing hug, she smiled generously and trust me her smile made my day......
After breakfast I got ready for the interview.....wearing a simple Suit, breading my hair in loose braids and and putting on Kohl and lipbalm as I said earlier I don't like putting makeup on .......
It took me only 15 minutes to get ready....and I headed for the venue with now no fear in my heart of loosing anything, as I know I will get it because I deserve it.....
I reached the venue around 45 minutes later thank God there was not much traffic today

So now here I am at the head office of Malhotra Group of Industries ....
I got a bit nervous seeing the tall glass building in front of me......I closed my eyes and remembered my Mother's words, it instantly lighten up my mood and I felt up for it......
I was asked to go to the 19th floor by the receptionist....... and I headed to the elevator...... on reaching the floor I saw many people seated in a row for the interview and many of them were ruthlessly rejected the boss seemed to be very rude to me but it's normal So mean every employee will demand the best for m their employees......after around 30minutes my name was called.. Sukhpreet Mehra.....I replied yes it's me...I went inside the cabin and find three men dressed in formal suits....they were in their mid 40s and seemed generous and disciplined...I greeted them Good Morning with a small smile they smiled back and asked me to sit..... They took a look over my CV and
seemed to be impressed by it one of them asked you secured really good Marks Ms Sukhpreet..I said Sir you better address me Sukh I am more used to it...they all smiled ...they again another guy asked you were a Scholarship Student to that's pretty Good..why did you went for Masters from Distance on which I replied Sir...I wanted to earn experience and money so I joined "Orange and Peaches "as Manager which allowed me to work and gain experience and money I earned there has been providing me a source for my Higher Education.......
They we are all impressed by my answers Just then I heard footsteps approaching the Cabin and seeing the guy everyone stood up greeting him Good Morning I too stood up from my place and turned around to see the Person.... and there was my nightmare standing in front of me as reality....!!!
I freezed at my place seeing him he clinched his jaw but his face remained emotionless....One of the there's men spoke up to say Sir we got the Candidate meet her she is the Candidat who is totally suitable for the post......he didn't utter a word about it and he asked, rather I should say order the men "You guys may leave now I will carry on from here !!!!"
I was still there standing like a dump wondering what will happen next.....
He took the seat in front of me and gestured his hands for me to sit...
He take a look at my CV and asked ...... What is the Colour of this building.....I opened my mouth to o say the answer and said "sir it's..."he shots other questions saying.....how many floors did it have....I tried saying the answer but again got interrupted; He then asked my how many stairs you walked to reach the floor....I was about to say when he cut me off and literally threw my CV towards me.....
He said we are done here we will call you if you are selected...... All this made me stun and I got up to get out of the place
Just then I heard him mumbling it's very easy to create scenes but working in Malhotra Group of Industries is not a cup of coffe served in Cafe.....he insulted me.. literally he insulted my profession which was my source of education ,which enabled me to complete my degree.....it got me stuck like a thunderstorm.....
I turned around facing him......

What will Sukh do now ,will she again be emotional and blurt her heart out on him or she will be practical......
