It had been 3 years since I last saw the twins that day during the dinner at their house. Grayson had just confessed that he slept with another girl whilst I was here waiting for him to message or call. I knew long distance wouldn't work. The twins recently became Youtubers, making videos every Tuesday. I watched them from time to time when I'm doing my assignments for journalism. They influenced me to start my own channel where I did random things, like singing.

I was now 19 years old and pursuing my career in Journalism. I was only a year and half away from graduating my course and receiving my diploma. Dad would be proud. I've found my brother Louis, and we've kept in contact everyday. I was sat alone in my room when I got a notification from an unknown number.

unknown: hey ;)

I replied back hesitantly, I was afraid but so curious to find out who it was.

maxie: now phone who dis?

unknown: don't act dumb max

maxie: ...srsly who dis?

unknown: you really don't know huh?

maxie: not a clue

unknown: surename : Dolan.

maxie: grayson?

grayson: you bet baby

maxie: oh

Oh for fuck sakes. I wasn't bothered to deal with this today. Not now, not never.

maxie: how did you get my number?

grayson: don't worry, i just got it

maxie: i'm blocking you

And with that I blocked him. I didn't have time to listen to his bullshit today. I had to get ready, my friend Maddison was having a gender reveal party. Sure she was only 20, but she was set on starting a new family. During my time away from Ethan and Grayson it encouraged me to do things I didn't picture myself doing.

I slipped on my black dress and black heels looking at the pictures I had in a heart shape. I walked over taking the picture of Grayson down putting underneath a box on my dresser. Why did he do it.

I walked down the stairs holding the railings tightly so I didn't tumble down. I grabbed the keys to my car rushing out of the house without saying goodbye. Mom was too focused on Mark and Ryan, well has he ever left his room. Plus I was already 30 minutes late to the whole thing, I hope they don't pop the balloon without me. I unlocked the car quickly jumping in, closing the door behind me. I didn't bother with the seatbelt quickly putting the key into the ignition driving off towards Maddison's new home.

As soon as I arrived, I quickly looked at myself through the rear view mirror adjusting my hair and face to make myself look presentable. I got out of the car locking it behind me as I walked through the front door. The atmosphere was buzzing, I hardly recognised a single person here.

"There she is!" Maddison exclaimed dragging her baby daddy over.

"I'm so happy you could make it Maxie."

"Maddie you know I wouldn't miss this." I rolled my eyes pulling her into a tight hug. I let go eyeing the man standing near her.

"Oh! Maxie this is Nate, he's the father of the baby." Nate winked at me flashing a smile which left me feeling a bit off.

"Enjoy yourself. I'll see you around." Nate winked once more laying a kiss on Maddison's forehead. She gave me a huge grin before walking off. I sighed looking around for a seat to sit at so I wouldn't look stupid standing here. I spotted the couch but there was someone already sitting there, ah fuck it. I walked over sitting on the far edge grabbing a drink on my way over. I looked at the person for a split second then again. He looked really familiar.
