Third Person POV
Cas sat with his feet up on his bed. His cat was playing with his Scepter. It felt great to just relax for a whole week. However, that week was slowly coming up to and end. He had asked Echo to do just about everything. From washing his cat to pricking herself with as many pin needles as she could. There was nearly nothing left for her to do. Cas rang his bell and Echo came in, "What?"
"Ah ah ah," he shook his head.
"Yes..." Echo hesitated. "Yes, your majesty of the most high, god of deceit. It graces me to be in your presence," she spoke with the most annoyed attitude.
"There we go," he smirked. "Now, I need you to run to the store for me-"
"The store?" She seemed baffled. "Why can't you do it yourself? Besides I'm nearly done with all this."
"Yes, the store. And I could but your still under my time which means I win. Now, go to the store and get the stuff for," he lowered his voice to a whisper, "for the P-A-R-T-Y."
"Ohh! Okay," she sighed. "So just pick up the basics?"
"Yep."
"When's the party again?" Echo asked while she grabbed her purse.
"This Saturday."
"Ah, Okay. Well, I'll be back soon."
"Alrighty," Cas smirked. Time to cause some Chaos.
His cat looked at him with confusion. "Not you."
Castiel's POV
I silently crept behind Echo, keeping far enough distance to where she couldn't hear or see me. But then again, she couldn't see me even if she wanted to. Made myself invisible just for this. It gets complicated though cause I can still bump into people. You should see their face when I do. Ha! Priceless. She got stopped at a street light and I knew that was my chance to shine. I ran across the street dodging traffic as I went. Nearly hit a few cars, but I was able to push them out of the way. Okay, now to just find an alleyway. A space to unpack my shit.
I walked into an alleyway down the street across from a small, local cafe. I took a deep sigh before transforming myself. It takes a bit of energy and effort, which I don't have because what's sleep?
I did my transformation. I checked myself out before I was going to try and venture closer to the opening. Satisfactory I guess. Going to have to do this more often if I want to get better though.
I made my way towards the opening. I just so happened to glance into the cafe. I noticed someone familiar through the glass. Sitting at a table chatting with a guy. Thea and Preston. What are they doing there? Alone?
I hate to get into peoples business (lie) but I just couldn't resist this one. I watched as they smiled and drank the rest of their coffee while still being on the lookout for Echo. I saw as they agreed to something and walked out holding hands. Oh my god. They're a thing? And she didn't even tell us?? What?!
"Ahh!" I heard a lady next to me scream. "A snake!"
People began to run from me. I had given away my spot. I just needed to find Echo and I was home free. I saw her shoes as I was slithering across the ground. She was staring confused at the sight of me. I hissed at her. She slammed her foot on me and I could hear all the cartilage in my body snapping.
So, bit her. She didn't like that. She picked me up and stared at me with more of an anger than anything. She shook her head and began to walk towards the store.

"Why the hell were you following me?!"
"I actually wanted to scare you," I replied.
She grabbed a few stacks of paper plates and threw them in the cart. "But why? You already had me," she paused and gasped. "Wait! You made me run to the store just to scare me?!"
"No," I rolled my eyes. "We needed stuff for the party."
"And you couldn't go get them yourself," she threw a couple packs of solo cups (teal ones) into the cart, "but you could come along to scare me. So low. Not as low as when you stabbed me with a knife, but pretty close."
"Thank you," I smirked. "One of my best qualities of you ask m-"
I felt something come and hit me across my face. I held the left side of my face, "What was that for?"
"That was to decrease the size of your big head," she waved a baguette in my face. She hit me again but on the other side, "That just for being the snake that you are. Now come on we've got groceries to get."
We began to walk down the isles in silence. I was too nervous to say anything at first until I remember what I saw earlier today, "Echo, you'll never believe who I saw today."

Earlier That Day
Thea's POV
"You really think she'll be that mad?""Are you kidding?" I giggled whilst stirring up my coffee. "She hates me. If she found out that I was dating her older brother, she'd have a Thanos tantrum."
He laughed, "You're right. Boy would that be a sight to see."
I took a sip of my drink, "You know you don't have to go through with this. I'm a bit of a mess to handle."
"Ah, you're not so bad. I've seen worse, trust me."
I shook my head, "Alright. Well I need to start heading back."
"I'll walk ya."
"You don't have to. I'm a strong female. I can take care of myself," I hopped off my chair and grabbed my coffee.
"Oh I know," he chuckled. "I just don't want you to feel lonely." He followed me. As we exited the cafe, he grabbed my free hand.
I smiled up at him, Is this supposed to feel nice? Like am I supposed to want this all the time?
"Ahh!" I heard a woman scream. "A snake!"
"Let's go," Preston squeezed my hand and began to walk quickly back to campus. I couldn't help but feel joyful and giddy. Hope my friends will understand.
