Peter hit the snooze button and groaned. He was sore AF from last night. He had stopped a robbery, two muggings and got a cat out of a tree. He had sustained a scratch from the cat and a severe black eye from one of the muggers along with a mild stab wound that was almost healed.

He rolled out of bed and threw on a grey t-shirt, navy jacket and some jeans before grabbing his back pack and walking out the door.

"Bye Aunt May! I'm going to school." He called out as he shut the door.

He ran down to the subway before hopping on his ride to MidTown Tech.

Ned was waiting out front as Peter ran up. "Hey dude!" Ned called as he watched Peter approaching. "Hey" Peter replied. "God what happened to your eye!" Ned questioned. "Oh that," Peter said casually, "a mugger got me last night but I broke his arm so I say we are even." Ned laughed as the boys continued talking.

"Sup losers," MJ said as she walked up. "we're gonna be late let's go." She said quickly ushering the two nerds into the building.

The morning went as usual with nothing important or interesting happening. As his fourth period class ended, Peter stood up, grabbed his back pack and headed for the cafeteria.

He quickly spotted his friends at their usual table after grabbing a tray of food. As he was about 40 ft away he was run into by non other than Flash

What does this asshole want now? Peter thought as Flashes glare met his eyes.

"Penis Parker! Where the hell is my homework huh?" Flash yelled causing a few heads to turn. Peter placed his tray on a near-by table before grabbing the paper from his backpack.

"Here" Peter mumbled handing it to the nitwit that stood before him. "This better be right Penis!" Flash said before turning around and walking away, however as he did he pulled Peter's lunch tray off the table and onto the floor.

"Oops!" Flash called as he disappeared into the crowd. Peter leaned down and grabbed his tray along with its spilled contents before throwing it away. He then finally sat down with his friends, the three of them ignoring the not uncommon situation that just happened.

As the school day was close to ending Peter heard an announcement broadcast over the speakers. "Peter Parker please report to the Principal's office, Peter Parker please report to the Principal's office, thank you."

Why am I being called up? I didn't do anything wrong. As he walked to the office his mind raced with anything he could have done wrong. The only thing was Flash's homework.

Shit! He thought. It better not be that.

As he stepped inside the room he noticed two strangers in the corner and the principal seated at his desk.

"Ah, Mr.Parker thank you for joining us." Mr. Randolph said with a mix of pity, sarcasm and boredom. "Am I in trouble?" Peter asked cautiously. "Oh no, of course not sweetie," said one of of the strangers as she smiled a fake smile. "Though you may want to take a seat."

Peter sat down as he looked at the three adults staring at him. "Mr. Parker," the other stranger said, his voice emotionless, "we have some bad news regarding your aunt, May Parker. You see, she, um, well she was in a car accident today, and died on impact."

Peter froze, unable to move, speak. He just sat there numb staring at the people he was with. No! She can't be gone she can't! I should've been there for her, I should have protected her! His mind raced as his heart pounded through his ears. His breathing quickened as he abruptly stood up.

"I'm going to use the bathroom." He said as he ran out of the office letting his tears slide down his face as he ran back to the place he would no longer call home.
