"I'm hungry." We skipped school today because we both had dentist appointments. It was Friday so I'm pretty sure we didn't miss much anyway.

"I know right, I feel like we been here for hours." Mia said.

"Girl hush, we only been here for thirty minutes." My mom said.

"Well at least can we go get something to eat after this?" I looked at my mom.

"You got eating money?"

I rolled my eyes, continuing to look at my phone.

"Oh my god, we have to go." Mia said.

"Exactly, I'm gonna starve to death."

"That too but I'm talking about this party."

"What party?"

"Clarence throwing a party tomorrow night. Everybody going, look." Mia said, showing me the post on Instagram.

"I'm not in the mood to party." I said, honestly. A bitch be tired.

"Come on Liyah. It's Clarence, the most famous nigga at school party. We have to go."

My mom looked at her, "Watch ya mouth. And I think you guys should go, honestly. Plus, y'all in my damn house to much."

I slightly rolled my eyes, "Fine I'll go."

Mia danced in her seat, sticking her tongue out.

I shook my head and laughed, "You're a mess."

"Ms. Mitchell and Hernandez?" The doctor called out for us. We got up walking into the room.

"I have no idea what I'm going to wear." We were at the mall looking for a outfit for the party.

"Well don't stress it. Whatever you wear I'm sure its gonna be cute."

"Thanks sis, you too."

"How cute. Can we focus now?" Keisha said. We decided to invite Keisha and Bacari to come along.

"Girl shut up, let them have they moment." Bacari responded.

"Anyway, is this cute?" Mia asked holding up a dress.

"Yes but not for tomorrow." I said.

"Yea but you can get it just to have." Bacari added.

"You right, you right." Mia said, continuing to hold the dress.

"Y'all excited because bitch I'm excited." Keisha said holding a dress to her body, looking in the mirror.

"I guess." I said.

"I am. I haven't went to a party in foreverrr." Mia said, being dramatic.

"What is soo exciting about this little party?" I asked.

"Little?" Mia and Keisha said in unison.

Me and Bacari rolled our eyes, " I mean what isn't exciting about it? We all never been to a party together, a Clarence party at that and everybody's gonna be there." Mia explained.

I mean, she's right. I never go out and it's a Clarence party with everyone there. So I think I'm a little excited to go.

"It must suck to go to a party with so many guys and be in a relationship." Keisha said, looking towards Bacari.

"Actually, no. I love it because when the parties over all you lonely hoes have to go home and sleep all alone wishing you had a man. No offense." Bacari said smiling.
