Chapter 12: Happiness

Jennie's POV

We went and checked up on how Lisa was doing. She was sleeping so Chae and Jisoo stayed in the living room while I went to call my parents.

"Yes honey?" My mom asked me.

"Hey mom. I need your help." I told her.

After I finished talking to my mom, I gave Jisoo and Rosé a thumbs up and went to Lisa's room.

"Hey Lisa." I said as I kissed her forehead. "I'm doing everything I can. Don't worry. We'll get you out of this mess and we'll get our happy ending."

"Jen?" Lisa said as she opened her eyes. 

I gave her a smile. "Hello sleepyhead." I said with a short laugh and she sat up.

"Come on. Jisoo and Rosé are in the living room. We came to check on how you were doing." I told her as we walked out of her room.

"Hey. You feeling okay?" Jisoo asked and she nodded.

"I'm a little stressed but I'll be okay." She said back hugging me.

"Lis. We're doing everything we can. We won't let you marry Tzuyu. We want your happiness with the one you love." Rosé told her with a smile.

I worry about Lisa because she has done so much for me.

She's never believed a single rumor about me and she's always on my side.

She helped me with my Kai problem and has supported me so much.

She's done so much for me and now it's my turn to return the happiness she's given me.

"Hey-" Knocks on the door cut us off and Rosé went to open the door.

As soon as she opened the door, Tzuyu stormed in.

"Lisa!" She yells after walking in. "Why are you hugging her like that. I'm the one you should be with! I'm the one who deserves you! I'm the only one who can love you! I love you more than anyone else and it's me! She can't give you everything. I'm rich! I can give you so much! You don't need her! With me, you don't even have to work, you an stay home and I'll take care of everything!" Tzuyu was yelling.

Lisa looked at her and shook her head.

"You don't understand. I love you, but not romantically. I only love you like a sister. Tzuyu, you were like the sister I never had growing up. You were the first one to talk to me when I had nobody.  You went through a lot to protect me and support me. You loved me even when I couldn't love myself and I can't thank you anymore. But-"

"But what?! You say that you're thankful for me. You say that you love me, but you would still choose them over me wouldn't you? You would rather be with Jennie than me. You want to be with a girl who has nothing. You want to be with someone you haven't even known for that long. You want to be with her even when I could give you the world!" Tzuyu cuts her off.

"Tzuyu. She has more than what you can give me. She gives me love. She doesn't treat me like I'm an object to win and keep. She gives me her heart and she trusts me with it. She's given me everything I need. I don't need money or anything like that. I want a happy life with a good future with the person I love. That person is Jennie." Lisa exclaims.

"Fine. I'll just speed things up. I'll get us to be married sooner." Tzuyu said as she pulls out a phone and calls someone.

"Daddy!" She starts to say but listens to what her dad is saying. 

"What?! No!! Lisa's mine! Who is she?!!" She started yelling after a couple minutes and hung up.

Before anyone could ask what happened, Lisa's phone rang.

Lisa's POV

I picked up my phone and saw my dad was calling.

"Yes dad?" I asked.

"I have to tell you something Lisa." He said and I waited.

"So.. you don't have to marry Tzuyu anymore." He said and I smiled. 

"But before you get so excited, you have a new fiancé." He told me and I immediately frowned.

"Your new fiancé is the daughter of the presidents of K Industries. The biggest and richest company in the Korea." He said.

"I don't want to dad. I like someone already. No. I love someone already." I told him as tears started forming in my eyes.

"I understand, but it was the only way to get you out of that. I'll try to get you out of this one too." He told me.

"No dad. You've done enough. I'll meet her and tell her that I can't be with her because I love someone else." I replied. "I have to go. I love you."

I hung up the phone. I looked at Tzuyu, who was furious and I turned over to Jennie who was looking at her phone.

"Babe.. I have to tell you something.." I sadly said.

"Wait. Before you do, let me introduce myself again." She said which confused me.

"Hello Lalisa Manoban. I'm Jennie Kim. I'm the girl you met during summer. I'm the cold girl you befriended. I'm the girl in the rumors. I'm the girl who crushed on you the day I met you." She started and I was still confused.

"I know I-"

"Wait." She cut me off. "I'm no longer your girlfriend though." She said with a smile and I felt my heart hurt and I flinched and everyone looked up surprised.

"Lastly. Lalisa Manoban, I'm no longer your girlfriend because I'm now your fiancé." She said with a big smile.

Everyone but Jisoo was shocked. "S-So you're-"

"Yes. I'm Jennie Kim. I'm the daughter of the presidents of K Industries." She replied.

"What?!!" Tzuyu yelled.

"Oh. Tzuyu. I forgot to mention that. Sorry. But I told my parents to pay your parent's to back out of the arrangement and they agreed, so Lisa's mine now!" Jennie said and walked over to me.

Tzuyu stormed off and Jisoo and Rosé decided to give us some time.

Jennie wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my hands on her waist.

"So Manoban. You said you wanted to tell me something earlier?" Jennie asked me.

"N-Never mind." I told her, blushing.

She leaned up and kissed me.

"See Manoban? We really are destiny." Jennie said with a smile and pulled me in for another kiss.

I know this story sucked lmao, but my next stories will be better. I ran out of ideas for this and got confused like midway through :)
