A/N:
In every girls life, there is this one guy she will never forget and a summer where it all began. Is it meant to last forever or just like the season, it will just have to end one way or another?
“Give me that lollipop” said the boy. He then took it and started walking away from the little girl. As he was walking away, a little boy with deep blue eyes and blonde hair stepped in.
“What do you want?” ask the older boy.
“Give her back her lollipop now” he answered.
“Want me to take yours instead? Would you want that huh?” the older boy said.
“No! Just give it back to her” the little boy answered looking the older boy square in the eye. The older boy gave the lollipop to him, “Take it and go cry to your mommy! Boo-hoo!” teases the older boy and he pushed him as he starts to walk away.
The little boy stood up, wiped the dust off his knees and then walks over to the little girl who has been crying.
“Here you go. Here’s your lollipop. Stop crying now” said the boy.

“Honey wake up! You’re dreaming again” a voice said. I opened my eyes to see mom sitting beside me on my bed.
“Mom?” I stare at her.
“You’ve been crying in your sleep. Are you dreaming of that again?” she asked me.
“Seems like it mom. It’s like I haven’t outgrow that dream” I replied.
“It’s fine honey. Why don’t you get up and freshen up? Try to get some sunshine. Since we moved here, you haven’t gone out to make some friends. School year is just around the corner” says mom as she strokes my hair.
“I know mom. You keep telling me that. It’s hard you know” I answered.
“Honey I’m sorry—”
“Mom, don’t” I said cutting her short. I hate having this conversation every time. It really sucks. Try moving every summer of every year and tell me how fun that is. I can’t blame her because dad’s job really requires him to move from one place to another every year and they wouldn’t let me stay behind. Some life it is.
“I’ll follow you downstairs mom” I said as I got up from the bed and walk to the bathroom. When I got inside the shower I heard mom’s footsteps as she walks out of my room. My dream crossed my mind once more. It was back in where I used to live. It’s in Nashville.
One summer, a family came for a vacation near my grandparents’ ranch. That family has this little blue-eyed blonde boy. We never really got to talk and play with each other although we do see each other at the playground often. Every time I see him he’s always eating something. He always has his bag with him, I guess that’s where he put his food. Were like that every day until that incident happened.
Since then, that little boy sat with me at the park. We still don’t talk with each other. We just sat there quietly eating our snacks. Then summer is over. They left. They came back the next summer. The summer after that and the next, they didn’t come back until we have to leave because Dad got a job some place elsewhere. We need to leave granny and Gramp's ranch.
After taking a shower, I dried my hair and went straight to my laptop and fired it up. I have this sort of diary blog every day. It keeps me sane and intact. That’s how my friends and I get updated with our lives. Of course it isn’t really for public. You get to choose who can read it and you can change your name too. My friends know it’s me because I told them my account.
