Cole's POV

It was October and I have been dating Mitch for eight months, nothing changed, but I was practically living with him in the hotel, I never felt so happy.

We would often go on double dates with Georgina and Blake, even though the two were just having casual sex as Georgina would call it, they would be nothing more, but we all got on well?
I finished work for the day and went home, or what I called home, it was the hotel Mitch was staying at.

As I opened the door, I seen cases placed in the hallway, I started to worry, was Mitch leaving or did he want me to leave, I was wondering what was going on.

Then I see Mitch walking towards me, he smiles at first and then looks worried after he seen my expression
"Cole, are you alright?" I couldn't help it but I sounded worried "The suitcases?"

"Yeah, it's a surprise?" "A Surprise?"
"Yes? I'm taking you away for the weekend for your birthday"
I felt relieved to say the least, "My birthday? How did you know?"
"Georgina told me, and she booked tomorrow and Monday off at work, so you can have a long weekend with me, she also packed your bag, sound familiar?" He smirks at me.

"Looks like it's becoming a habit" I say in a sassy way "the auction will be the only part that will not be included" he frowns

"Damn and I thought I would have my love for auction, maybe a hot man would whisk me away? have my happy ever after" I say teasingly.
He walks closer towards me,
"I'm not allowing you to be in an auction, ever again because your mine, I don't want any man thinking they might have a chance with you? However slim it might be" he starts to kiss my neck

" possessive, aren't we?" "Yes, l love you Cole Andrews" I kiss him on the lips "me too"

I manage to pull away from him "So where are you taking me?"
"I wanted to take you back to Portree, if that's OK, we can change it and go somewhere else?"

"No of course not, I would love to go to Portree with you again, it's a really sweet idea?'

"I'm glad you like it, we should go, I need to work while we travelling, but I will be all yours once we are in Portree"

"Let's go, I can't wait, I really loved our trip the last time" then I just thought "but Mitch when is it your birthday?"

"Every day with you"
I scrunched my nose, what sort of answer was that?
"What? Too cheesy?" "Yes, but..."
"Don't worry you haven't missed it?"
The trip to Portree wasn't as long as before, Mitch charted a plane that only took three and half hours, but I managed to fall asleep again, on Mitch's shoulder. I opened my eyes and looked straight at Mitch's dark ones, he had a little stubble on his chiseled chin and perfect cheekbones, he was beautiful I thought to myself.
He smiles at me

"Did I disturb you?" "No of course not, the plane is about to land, Jimmy should be waiting for us at the airport"

"Jimmy, it will be nice to see him again"
"It will" he nods
Once we land I immediately see Jimmy standing by the very familiar black car, Jimmy smiles at me as we approach him.

"Nice to see you Cole"
I hug him, "nice to see you too Jimmy"
Mitch shook Jimmy's hand, "hi Mr. Clark"

"Shall we leave" I nod at Mitch, we both in the back of the car.
"If Jimmy wasn't a lot older, I think I should be worried" "What?" "Don't look at me like that Cole?"

"I mean, you should never be worried about me and other men? I can never imagine feeling the way I feel about you, with anyone else?" He looked taken back.
