3rd p.o.v.
Along time ago, before the first great ninja war, there was a time of peace. Everyone lived in peace. There was a uchiha and a hyuga that fell in love during this time. They were Hana hyuga, and kyo uchiha.
They knew that they're love was a forbidden one. So they ran away together. They soon found themselves at a mysterious island. A lot like the crescent island, only it had two different sides. A light and a dark side.(This is were they made they're home.) They soon had a baby girl, who they named after they're part of the island. Kurai tsuki. (Dark moon).
Through the generations they got stronger with a new eye technique known only to them; the moondegon.
But they weren't the only crescent moon clan. There was another one, created the same night as the birth of kurai tsuki. Unlike the dark moons, they were brutal. Skilled at torture, they were the most likely to get allies. A war broke out almost everyday, dark against the light. Each trying to do what they thought was best. Then, exactly after the 3rd great war, a baby girl was born. Her name was kiera mikazuki. And she would be the one to change her clans, the light and dark moons.
