As I sit down at a lunch table I sigh. What a crazy week. I'm being forced to go to lunch. Luckily I don't have to eat anything. I lay my head down on the table and start to think of what to do for the funeral, and I can feel tears tempt to come to my eyes.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look up and see a girl. "Uh, is this seat taken?" She says nervously as she points at the seat next to me. "No," I say, leaning my head on my hands. She sits down next to me and starts to unpack a lunch she brought from home I guess. "Do you want this? I don't like chocolate that much, but my mom always packs it." She chuckles as she holds out a candy bar.

"Uh, no, sorry. I'm on a diet." I say, lying. She smiles nervously as she puts it back. I look closely at her. She has hazel eyes with long, dirty blonde hair and glasses. "So you're new here, right?" She says, easing a little. I nod. "I could show you around sometime if you want." She smiles brightly.

I grin a little. "No thank you. I think I can figure it out, sorry." I say. She frowns slightly. "I'd rather you show me around town," I say nicely. Hopefully, this can make this weird situation with Eli go away. She brightens at this. "O-Of course!" She says excitedly.

I grin at her. "So, can I have your number so we can make time later?" I ask. She nods and pulls out a pen from her pocket and scribbles a number on a napkin. She hands it to me and I put it in my pocket. "What's your name?" I ask. "Serena." She says. "Kei." I smile at her again. "I know. I was in your class on your first day." She chuckles slightly.

Suddenly a tray drops down in front of me. "Kei! Hey man!" Johnis says. I nod as a hello. His eyes go to Serena. "Who is this lovely young lady?" He smiles at her. "I'm Serena, nice to meet you," She says, extending her hand, waiting for him to fill the blank. "Johnis." He grabs her hand.

"How did I not notice someone as lovely as you all this time?" He says, sitting down. She blushes slightly. He stares at what's supposed to be a hamburger and fries, disgust all over his face. He pulls a water bottle from his backpack. He opens it and I automatically know it's not water.

"Why are you drinking Vodka at school?" I say, putting my head on my hands once more. "How did you know it's not water?" He asks, astonished. "I have really good senses. I can smell it." I say. A long time ago, I morphed my body to have enhanced senses, and it's been stuck like that ever since.

"You're not gonna tell on me right?" He asks childishly. A hand snatches the bottle from him. I look up to see Eli with the Vodka in one hand. "Underage drinking is illegal. You shouldn't do this at school anyway." He says. "What's up Eli?" I say. He nods at me.

"Hey! Give that back!" Johnis says loudly. "No," Eli says firmly "I won't. I'm throwing it away." Johnis stands at this. "I paid for it! Give it back!" He yells, making people turn to look at us. I look at Serena and her face is worried. I realize that not as many people are used to scenes like this.

I put my arm around her. "It's okay. Don't worry." I say to her. She smiles assuringly at me. Eli looks at me with a hurt expression on his face. "Fine. Get in trouble. Not my problem." He says, shoving the bottle back in Johnis' hand.

He storms off in the direction of the doors. Soon, I lose sight of him in the crowd of people. Johnis sits back down. "Geez. I'll just save it for later I guess." He sighs, putting the bottle back in his bag. He looks at my arm around Serena. "Do you know him?" He asks.

"Yeah, I met him yesterday," I say, looking in the direction he went. "Y-You shouldn't have alcohol at school," Serena says nervously. "I won't do it anymore." He smiles at her and she blushes. I flick my eyes between them. "I'm going to the bathroom. Don't do anything weird." I say as I stand.

I walk in the direction Eli went. I open the doors and hurry through the halls. I walk around a corner when somebody grabs me from behind, covering my mouth.

I hit and kick, but the grip tightens. "Stop moving." I hear Eli's voice behind me. I stop hitting and kicking, my heart still pounding. He doesn't take his hand from my mouth as he puts his chin on top of my head.

He tightens his grip around my stomach even more. I try to move to a comfortable position, but his hand stops me. "Do you like her?" He asks, moving his head to whisper in my ear. I shake my head.

"Is that so? You know that I can tell when you're lying." He whispers, pressing himself against me. I feel my face get red and my whole body start to burn. "Are you sure?" He asks.

I nod my head and his grip loosens a little. "Good." He says as he removes his hand from my mouth.

Suddenly, he turns me quickly, and before I realize what's happening, his lips are pressed against mine. My head spins and he pulls me closer, quickly catching his breath. I try to push him away but my arms are weak. He pushes me against the wall. I pull away "What are you doing? Stop." I say, almost in a whisper.

"Why?" He says, raising his hand to my face. I instinctively flinch. "I won't hurt you." He says as he touches his hand to my face gently. He presses his forehead against mine and I close my eyes. "Please, stop," I whisper.

He presses his lips to mine again, his tongue seeking entrance that I had no chance but to give.

"Hey! What are you two doing?" We hear a deep voice yell. We freeze as we realize who it is. Eli lets go of me quickly. "Principal Rogers!" He says, smiling. He motions for me to run away, and I gladly do so.

I make it to the bathroom and lock the stall. What just happened?
