Chapter Three: Out Of Time

I gasped waking up shaking, I was in the orphanage bed again, i looked around anxiously when I smelled biscuits and tea. Alice came in with a bold smile on her face, her violet eyes gave me an instant calm feeling. Though it wasn't a real feeling, I shrugged it off.

Although, it was nice to see her again, she had a fairly strange smell around her, which I wouldn't have mind if she didn't ask.

"So, how was Wonderland?"

I spilled the tea on me and squeaked jumping out of bed when i noticed I was in new clothes. Which I wouldn't mind,again, if i didn't realise that she would have to take my original clothes off. I crossed my arms and started pinching my skin. "What is it you ever mean?" I forced a tight-lipped smile at Alice. She slumped shoulders and laughed quietly, "it doesn't matter, I always ask how people's visits are" she replied walking over to me. 

"We need to go get some daily bread from the town, now come along, Alice" she pulled my wrist and we walked downstairs and out the door. The new dress that she had "given" me was a simple bright yellow dress. It had a dark blue bow in the back and- "glasses? Why on earth do i need glasses?" I scratched my cheek confused as I examined it. "Just put them on, Alice, and you will see what you can't see" she explained and stepped to the side.

I put the glasses on and immediately saw Wonderland and everything from the last time. I looked beside me, it once was an old shop, but now it was a beautiful birdhouse that had live jet blue birds inside it. It was as big as the Eiffel Tower, or at least that's what gram told me. I sighed shaking the thought when a particular cat arrived Infront of my view.

"Hm,Alice! Nice to see you, well we must meet the crazed rabbit!" He seemed calmer, his violet eyes sparked, I hesitated but started to follow him. My eyes narrowed for a moment as I saw the cat jump onto small card stack that was in the sky, "go along, Alice, just believe your going to fall," he explained. But, I didn't get it, why not believe i wouldn't fall? I glanced up to look at Cheshire but he had already disappeared. I gulped shaking slightly, i ran and believed that i would fall to my death and break my bones. I jumped and the air instantly pushed the wind towards my face and blew my hair. I couldn't believe it! I smiled brightly until i started to fall, than a hand grabbed mine.

Oh god, it was her.
