I stumbled through crowds of people, down the musty corridors edging closer to my room. eventually I saw the room number "404" glimmering in the sunlight which was peering through a tiny window, I entered expecting to see the others from my room giggling and having fun, however nobody was there, actually thinking about it everywhere suddenly felt quiet and isolated, i ignored this and continued to walk to my bed, I placed my belongings in the ancient chest of drawers beside it and put a photo of my Close friend's back home and my family on top of it along with my clock and a diary, then I perched myself on my bed and decided to listen to some music, we were allowed our phones during the day when we had breaks or were in our rooms, I relaxed into my surroundings until I saw shadowy figures circulating the room and standing at the foot of my bed , staring through me, my heart rate quickened and I started taking shallow breaths terrified , but I convinced myself I was just tired and if I shut my eyes they'd go away , so I sat with my eyes shut praying whatever this was stopped. I heard shouting from next to me , I didn't open my eyes, the shouting continued and when I finally opened them I saw my friend Stood at the side of my bed shouting at me that we needed to be in the hall for an assembly, I was bewildered and slowly peeled myself away from my bed, shaking uncontrollably at what I'd just witnessed, but they weren't real, they can't be, right??
