[Sam's PoV]

The last days since Colby is back here again were terrible. I couldn't sleep at night. Well that was something that I couldn't really do before he came back already but seeing him standing in front of me, smiling, knowing he has no memory of me, is a different type of pain.

I walked down the stairs. It was 2am and I should probably try to get some sleep, but I just can't. I headed to the basement. Why? Well I just remembered that we had a lot of old photo albums down there. I just wanted to see how happy we were together, since I'm just a stranger for him now. It's so weird. He could have forgot ANYONE but the destiny decided that he should forget me. His best friend since so many years. My better half.

A tear rolled down my cheek. As I reached the basement door I turned on the light and started to search trough the boxes. "Ew.", I said as I held a boxer shorts with my two fingers. I didn't want to know who's boxers that was.

After a few minutes I finally held an old brown and big book in my hands. "Sam & Colby against the world."
A small smile was running over my lips as I read what was standing on the book's cover.
I opened it and looked at the first page. I had to laugh at this picture. It was back from the kansas times. It was a picture of us standing in front of the fan post wall. "7 000 subscribers", was written under the photo.
"I have to tell the fans..", I whispered to myself. I didn't posted anything on social media since we both got kidnapped. My friends didn't told the fans about anything either. We wanted to wait until it feels good to tell them. How should I do this? I mean I can't just say "Hey Guys, 2 and a half months ago we both got kidnapped and Colby got shot in the head. Everything is fine now except the fact that he can't remember me."

Maybe I should just let it be. They eventually will forget about everything in a few years and they will think that we just didn't want to continue our channel. They don't have to know everything.

Does Colby remember his own YouTube channel? If so, is he going to continue just as nothing happend? I should probably talk with him about that.

As I was sitting there on the cold basement ground, lost in my thoughts, I didn't hear footsteps coming down the stairs. "What are you doing here?", a deep voice said. I jumped a little and turned around, seeing Colby standing there in just his joggers with no shirt on. A slight blush on my cheeks was seen for a second. "Oh- uhm.. sorry if I woke you up. I just uhm look trough some old.. photos you know?", I tried to explain. "At 2:15am?", he asked and frowned  a bit. "Yeah.. what are you even doing here?", I asked back. "Well I just got a little hungry and wanted to get me a little snack.", he answered. " Oh ok..", I said and turned back to the photo album.

After a few seconds of silence I felt a hand touching my shoulder. "Wow.. Is that... us?", Colby asked as he looked down at the photo. "Y.. yes. It's a photo back from kansas..", I answered. "Kansas..", he muttered.

"I uhm  guess I will head back to bed. It's late.", I said as I got uncomfortable with the situation that he was sitting behind me looking over my shoulder, probably trying to remember that photo but couldn't. "Ok", he said and I got up leaving him sitting there. "Hey, Sam?", he said and I stopped. "Yes?", I asked. "Can I like borrow your album?", he asked.
Ouch.
"S- Sure. It's yours anyways.", I said. I once looked back at the book where I saw the little sticker sticking on it.

"Happy B-day Colby! From Sam"

And with that I left the room and went back to bed.
