"Maria!" I can remember my mom saying. "Honey I need to tell you something." She walked toward me and grabbed my hands. "What?" I asked curious. "Your adopted Maria, from Romania. "What's being adopted mean?" I said. "It means you came from a different country when you were born."

Being adopted was such a big impact in my life, because I always thought that I was from Michigan from my actual family and we were all related. I found out I was adopted when I was six years old. I can remember being all confused, I was so young to understand what that meant or to comprehend what was happening. I liked the idea of being adopted it made me feel unique. I think the craziest thing about being adopted is if I was never adopted I would have never known most of the amazing people I know now. Knowing if I never came to Michigan all the unexplainable memories I've encountered in the past years with my friends, family, and everyone. My best friends for instants, I couldn't imagine my life without them. There always there for me and understand me thick and thin. Tell me the real truth that I need to hear and not the lies I don't. My siblings that I have are amazing, I might fight with them but don't we all fight with are siblings. My sister might not be my blood related sister, and my brothers might be my real brothers but I always will consider then my siblings no matter what.
