Victoria's P.O.V.

The shattering of the glass bottle against the fireplace was enough to make my teeth chatter.

"You make me so angry" he huffed, walking into the kitchen and grabbing another bottle of vodka.

I looked down at my bruised arms, then at my suitcase, and then back up at my poor excuse of a boyfriend.

I should've listened to my mother when she told me not to trust him again.

"I think I'll stay at Rebecca's tonight" I lied, grabbing my suitcase and dragging it into our room.

I dialled my mom and put the phone between my head and shoulders while I shoved clothes into the suitcase.

"Hi" my mothers voice startled me, "Sorry I'm not able to get to the phone right now. Leave a message and I'll talk to you soon!"

"Hi Mom.. this is Victoria. You were right and I'm sorry. I should have listened to you. I love you.. please call back" I whispered.

With the sound of another bottle being thrown at the wall, I sped up my packing process and just shoved clothes into the suitcase without folding them.

I zipped the suitcase shut and instead of going through the house to the front door, I jumped out the window.

With my free but shaky hand, I unlocked my car door.

I sat in my car for a good ten minutes before deciding to go to my parents.

-

As soon as the door opened, i was greeted by my father with a tight hug.

"Don't ever run away like that again, I don't think we could survive it" He said.

"I won't, I promise.. Where is mom?" I asked.

"Upstairs" my father said, stepping to the side to let me in.

Once upstairs, I found my mother reading one of her cheesy romance novels in bed. But when she looked up, she dropped it on the ground.

"I thought you'd never come back" she cried, pulling me into a hug I'd been waiting for ever since I left.

I felt guilty.

Guilty that I left.

Guilty that I didn't listen.

But as soon as me and my mom let go, she disappeared.

I was back at the house where he lived.

I looked down, to see he was hunched over on the bathroom floor.

Wait.. someone was laying in front of him.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up" he hollered, making me cringe.

"David?" I said his name, but no response.

"I killed you" he said, quietly.

"I'm right behind you," i said as I took a couple steps foreward, "What are you-"

The body laying in front of him was me.

Eyes closed, and pale.

"This can't be real" I murmered.

David stood up, and left the bathroom, shutting the door behind me.

And finally, I understood.

He drowned me in the bathtub.

He killed me.
